Could you imagine if the Bills signed June and then traded for Waters? I like Simmons and think he will continue his solid NFL career, but man...that would be a great O-Line with a dominating WR crew and a powerful running game. Add in a TE in Round 2 and that, my friends, is an offense that even Turk cant screw up.

They should absolutely pursue this. Worse comes to worse, the case gets rejected by the NFL. Best case scenario is they walk away with some Skins draft picks

So when you buy a car, do you immediately buy the first car you see without checking out anything else? The Bills are bringing in multiple players at the same position so they can get a good idea on what each brings to the table. When the FA visit train ends (today I believe) the Bills will make their selections. Look for 3-4 signings to be announced as early as today.

He's had a rough last two years, but Darrell Jackson might be someone we could bring in for a visit. When he was playing in Seattle, he used to get double-teamed constantly and he still put together 1000 yard seasons.

Braylon Edwards has everything about being a WR down perfectly. Except the whole catching thing. And you kinda, sorta, perhaps need that in today's NFL. Aside from that, he's the best.

Geez, I was hoping that I would soften the blow by telling everyone for DAYS before that Coles wasnt going to sign here, and yet there still was an explosion of stupid. Ah well, the joy of being a Bills fan. Anywho, here's what I know. The Bills offered a 3 year deal worth around 14 million. They eventually bumped that up a bit to around 3 for 16 million during the first night, however they made it clear to Coles' agent Parker that there was a timetable on the deal. Coles and his agent wanted to wait things out. The Bills had plans on bringing in other FAs and couldn't wait much longer. Eventually when Coles went to Cincy, the Bills pulled their deal around noontime yesterday. My source tells me that the Bengals only had a loose idea what the Bills were offering Coles, and most of what they offered came from what Parker told them. So the Bengals were essentially competing with themselves by the time the deal was hammered out last night. That being said, the Bills will be bringing in a FA WR later in the week, but my source has no idea who. It was told to Coles' agent that the Bills were "going in another direction" for WR. My source's best guess is that its Drew Bennett or Joey Galloway. No truth to the Holt to Buffalo rumor/wishful thinking. Waters to Buffalo apparently has legs though. Just might take awhile to figure out the contract stips. Just passing along what I know, you can now go back to freaking out.

I'm headed home now. When I get there I'll give everyone what I know about this whole deal from my source. Pretty interesting stuff.

Not when the only places reporting it are a website that is well-known for making up rumors to increase their hits and random people on message boards. If Coles signs here, I'll be the first person to admit I'm wrong. I've got a pretty decent source on this one, and I'll be shocked if what they have been telling me is inaccurate.

Yeah, lets ignore the fact they are bringing in 3 LBs, have already talked to Kendall Simmons and have a WR coming in later in the week. As for DE and TE, I dont see any options out there in FA that could make the team substantially better. Does anyone REALLY want to see us go after LJ Smith or Bertrand Berry? I agree with you both need upgrading, but both will come in the draft.
