  1. Money, the Seahawks couldnt afford him at the contract they gave him three years ago. Wonderful planning.
  2. Yeah he was so good the Lions decided that they didnt need "one of the best cover corner in the NFL". You know, because the Lions have SO much talent as is...
  3. Another reason the Bills might want to wait for upgrading their OLB spot. The LB pool in free agency is insanely deep right now and talent keeps getting added. I would love to see us make a play for Peterson, he's only 30 and has made 5 Pro Bowls, including the last 3 years in a row. Would make a great addition to our crew and give our team a lot of added toughness
  4. I still have high hopes for Hardy. With TO on the team, he can (hopefully) learn from the guy while he recovers from his injury and then be eased back into the lineup for goal line situations where his height gives him a distinct advantage.
  5. Get er done Russ, I've heard of him, blah blah blah. Still though, this might be an option for us. Either bring him in and put him at RT and move Walker to LG, or keep Walker and put Shaffer at Guard. He's still relatively young too, only 29. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/03/12/...ns-cut-shaffer/
  6. If you go to BB.com and look under the Shop section, they no longer list Owens as "1" on his replica jersey. Its "81". So there you go, Owens has 81.
  7. That, my friends, is an image I can safely say that I thought I'd never see.
  8. Siena grad here as well. I traveled home for the quarters and semi but couldnt get the day off work for the final, must have been great being there.
  9. Perhaps we'll hear of a signing tomorrow? *runs away*
  10. Kendall Simmons and Mike Goff are both FA guards who have boatloads of talent, but also have glaring issues. Simmons is coming off a serious injury and Goff is getting up there in the age department.
  11. The Bills wil probably bring him in for a look, but if they do sign him it wont be until after the draft. They would be wise to see what falls to them in April before committing to a sadly injury-prone TE.
  12. This is eerily true.
  13. Great job! Got my new wallpaper
  14. I was thinking the same thing last night. Instead of looking across the line in practice and seeing Josh Reed or Roscoe Parrish, in a span of one day he's looking across and seeing Terrell F'N Owens. Kid, you better get ready.
  15. I think trading for Waters is still a real possibility, but I'm getting the feeling they are going to roll the dice on an injured Guard like Simmons or Bentley. If it works out, well great...you got a star Guard for (probably) well below cost. Honestly, if we go the FA route, I'd rather bring in both Simmons and Bentley. If we can somehow manage a trade with KC for Waters, then I think we'll add a Guard in Rounds 3-5 in the draft and just be done with it. I dont see the Bills upgrading their DT spot this year, I think they're happy with what they have. Cant say I agree, but they havent even whispered about upgrading the interior D-Line all offseason. Pass Rush help comes in the draft, with Brown, Maybin or Orakpo. There are no veteran FAs who could substantially help in that department unfortunately.
  16. He'll totally ruin this playoff caliber team we've built over the last 9 years!
  17. Terrell: "Hey...arent you that guy?" Chris: "If you are talking about my stellar play in th..." Terrell: "Already bored, see you later Jimmy"
  18. I've got to do a little more research on James Casey. His stats are just insane, 1329 all purpose yards and 13 TDs this year. I know about his background in baseball and coming into the NFL as a 24 year old, but I still am shaky on how the guy is as a blocker. I dont care if he played for a weaker team, those type of numbers dont just happen every day.
  19. Oh goodie, I was DYING to know what Chris Kelsay thought about TO. The two are so far apart at talent, its not even funny. I bet TO thinks he's a towel boy at camp.
  20. Something that PFT mentioned that I also noticed during Russ' interview... ...when asked point blank whether it was a 1 year deal, Russ backed off and responded with a "no comment" Now my best guess is thats just the Bills policy of not discussing contracts to the public, but still...hmmm.
  21. Just like Chris Brown said, I dont think the Bills are done in FA. I bet they fill their LB and RB need by early next week. The starting OG spot is starting to worry me though.
  22. Press Conference and Russ' video is up on BB.com. Hope that holds you over.
  23. It would make one hell of a comeback story if it worked out. From what I remember, he was a really good guy off the field too, lots of community service work.
  24. Who was it on this team who sold Richard Huntley his # a few years back, then Huntley got cut in Training Camp so he just reclaimed it?
