  1. Nelson is going to be a star in this league. He instantly is going to create mismatches (nightmares) for LBs.
  2. That would greatly enhance the LB corps. I'd love to see Hill brought in, if not him then definitely Keaiho. Dust off your hands and then let the LBs fall where they may during training camp. I'm actually pretty excited about Nic Harris too, but that probably comes from living with an Oklahoma fan. I watched a lot of Sooner football and the guy plays a lot like Mitchell. Should, at the very least, make a very capable backup.
  3. Any news on Southerland or a guy like Otis Wiley yet? I've got my fingers crossed on bringing in a young talent at FB.
  4. I'd say 5 eventual starters, how can you not count Nelson?
  5. KFFL erroneously reported the Bills did. They since changed it.
  6. Bell does has freakish size and quick feet. Obviously the level of competition will be the biggest knock against him...but the physical tools are there which is always good news.
  7. Joel Bell to the Bills
  8. Bills also sign Joel Bell, OT from Furman
  9. From KFFL: Bills | Bell signed Comment (0) Tweet me! Sun, 26 Apr 2009 19:29:56 -0700 The Buffalo Bills have signed undrafted free-agent OT Joel Bell (Furman). Terms of the contract were not disclosed. Considered one of the top UDFAs available. A lot were clamoring for him with the 7th rounder, does this make some people less angry over that CB pick?
  10. But I have a high motor too...
  11. I'll be honest, I've never heard of this guy (and I am a draft nerd) Hopefully the Bills are talking to Brannan Southerland and Gerald Cadogan. Getting both of those guys as UDFAs would completely negate that last confusing CB pick.
  12. I get it. Because he's white. Cute.
  13. London Fletcher had a hell of a temper and was a bit "undersized" too.
  14. Lazy. Beaten often. Lacks maturity. Give me that OT from Penn State. He's got a passion for the game that is unmatched and plays with a lot of ferocity. Wouldnt be able to start right away, but could blossom into a damn good OT.
  15. Lets just hope they cut the dead-weight that IS Chris Kelsay. On the plus side, with the pick of Byrd (and Harris to some degree, although I clearly think the Bills see him as a SLB), you can kiss Ko "Millionare" Simpson goodbye.
  16. Could also be an OT. Meredith, Cadogan and Tupou and Fulton are still out there. Follett does seem to fall in line with this new "agressive & angry" Bills team they are building though.
  17. The Bills are...doing...something...right? Someone pinch me.
  18. If Freeman is there...you take him, plain and simple. Same goes for Jean-Francois Sadly, I doubt either guy will still be kicking around
  19. I completely agree...and that saddens me. If they pick OLB or OT in the next round, I may have to go and check to see if Ralph truly is still in charge.
  20. Wow, I really didnt expect that pick VERY happy over it though, the only thing he really needs to do is add some muscle mass and he'll be a star in this offense. Great pick.
  21. If the Bills truly want to upgrade their TE spot, its an obvious move. HOWEVER I'm not sure they are truly that interested in doing so. It looks like they've had a lot of options to do so in the offseason and passed on all of them. If they take a TE, its going to be a blocking TE like Pascoe.
  22. I truly believe thats what you'll see. I also wouldnt be surprised if the Bills go out and add a TE like George Wrighster via FA if the 4th round yields no TE talent left.
  23. You look confused Jay.
