  1. I sent PMs to a few people beforehand with a little bit more info, but no real explanation from my source was given other than that they seemed to completely send me in the wrong direction. They DID tell me a week before the draft that the Bills were insanely high on Ayers and he was the #2 rated DE on their board. The Bills didnt think their #1 DE would be there when they picked at #11, apparently that was Maybin (you'd think). But honestly, the same source also told me something outrageous about who the Bills would pick in Round Two, something that turned out to be false as well. I trust my source, they nailed the whole Coles negotiations perfectly and clued me in to some visits days before they were ever announced anywhere else...but they seemed to lead me astray in terms of Draft prep.
  2. For the last time, you're taking Kelsay or its no deal! Okay...okay...*deep breath*...I know we can compromise here. I hear your mail room needs a new copy machine. Well! Kelsay is an EXCELLENT transcriber! Kid has perfect penmanship, you wont even be able to tell it was scrawled in crayon. Why use a machine that could break down? Kelsay is in peak physical condition (brought on by running 15 yards beyond the line of scrimmage every play in an attempt to get to the QB). And...to sweeten the deal, I'll throw in the crayons.
  3. I'd take that trade, and as an added benefit, they can have this rarely-used Chris Kelsay! Watch as he lunges for RBs and whiffs on QBs! See as he falls over for no real reason! Hear him talk to the media as if he were a 5 time Pro Bowler!
  4. This is going to reach TO/Hitler Video level of craziness.
  5. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/04/28/...ng-larry-foote/ Edit: To reflect that he's an ILB, my bad.
  6. The Giants O-Line in the Superbowl against the Ravens was pretty inexperienced if I remember correctly. They didnt win obviously, but they got there. Plus, wasnt the Steelers this year's O-Line decimated with injuries to the point where they were playing mostly young guys?
  7. Dick Jauron's ears perked right up when he heard that a secondary player with a criminal history was cut.
  8. The play starting at 4:10 on the first video is hilarious. Levitre does his job amazingly well (he pushes the DE 10 yards backwards!), while the rest of his O-Line implodes around him.
  9. Dont get too attached to Hill, looks like he is going to sign back with the Seahawks: The Associated Press reports Seattle Seahawks president Tim Ruskett said he is just having conservations with the agent for unrestricted free-agent LB LeRoy Hill about a long-term contract. Ruskell said the team can use the money they were going to pay Hill under the franchise tag to add other players.
  10. Whats amazing about that video is that Nelson is actually covered PERFECTLY in some of those clips, and he still makes the catch.
  11. Tim. Levi Jones? What do we know about the Bills interest? I saw that John Clayton linked the two in an article earlier, was wondering if you heard anything more.
  12. You know, it could be nothing...BUT... The Bengals did cut a lot of dead weight today, 5 players to be exact...yet Levi Jones was just "rumored" to be released OR traded. I'm wondering, would the Bengals have released him earlier if they didnt already have a trade partner in mind? And would the Bills have drafted two guys with return ability if they didnt plan on trading Roscoe? Maybe I'm just seeing signs when there are none.
  13. If the Bills desperately want him, just trade Chris Kelsay...
  14. 5th round, come on...be realistic, we cant be wasting 4th rounders on veterans
  15. He's also only started 28 of 48 games over the last 3 years...
  16. "The agent for LT Levi Jones says the Bengals have informed him his client will be released or traded shortly. This likely indicates that No. 6 pick Andre Smith will play tackle, not guard, although it remains to be seen which side. Anthony Collins and Andrew Whitworth both have experience on the blind side. The Bengals won't get anything for Jones because of his chronic back injury and pricey contract."
  17. And yet if the Patriots drafted either one of the guys, it would be heralded as THE greatest value.
  18. Dont feed the trolls, just looking for attention.
  19. OLB starter and OT depth. Considering how many needs we had before this draft, I'd say thats a pretty good situation. Obviously I would jump at a chance though to get Levi Jones, if he becomes available. Hopefully the Bills will simply cut Kelsay and Simpson and give them more cap space to pursue vets like Hill and Jones.
  20. Hey, here's hoping he plays in the HOF game so our scrubs can toss him around!
  21. Buffazona Cardbills!
