  1. Pisa is headed to the Eagles some time this week, then he'll decide which team he'll play for. You know...either the Bears or Eagles.
  2. I feel like the Bears give Pisa the most money AND the best chance to start. He'll go there.
  3. Bills are clearly making room for another DB.
  4. If the Bills view a 27 year old OLB who led his team in tackles for 4 years, fits their scheme perfectly, has outstanding character and is just entering his prime as a "stop-gap" solution, than this team has lost it's collective mind. Why would the Bills wait until next year to draft an OLB when they have the option of signing a young, solid OLB right now? Pisa has already shown he can play the scheme very well, why trust that to the crap shoot that is the NFL Draft? The Bills screwed the pooch on this one by letting Pisa out of town, plain and simple.
  5. So Pisa is going to choose between the Eagles, the Bears and the Bills? Yikes. The Eagles will offer him a legitimate chance to win the Superbowl this year. The Bears will offer him the most money and a chance to play under his old coach. The Bills will offer him a 5% discount coupon at Tops.
  6. Tim just posted an update on Pisa on his blog site (its also under the Ask Tim Graham Thread) http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-8-73/...ring-Bills.html
  7. Because he's simply not an idiot. The Bears will give him a fairly reasonable contract offer. I'm going to guess 3.5 million a year for 3 years. He'll take it, and the Bills will sit there and do nothing except try and pimp out Ellison on us for another year. The Bills screwed up big time on this one. This was a linebacker who fit the scheme, was excited to play for us, and the Bills gave him the ol' "Dont call us, we'll call you" waiting game crap that they've pulled for years. I'm very excited for this upcoming season, but this is the type of stuff that just infuriates me. Perfect situation and the Bills walk away. Oh hey, but dont worry...the Bills signed Pat Thomas. Problem solved.
  8. He'll be a Bear by tomorrow night. They're going to...you know...actually offer a decent contract and get their man. Most teams dont follow the Bills philosophy of "Well...we'll look at you, but dont you dare ask about money!" approach to free agency.
  9. Truly boggles my mind. Clearly they are interested in upgrading their OLB spot, otherwise they wouldnt have flown in these guys for a look. Knowing the Bills, they'll sign Jamie Winborn since he was the only OLB they brought in who hasnt signed with another team yet.
  10. Ugh...I mean seriously...UGH! Why cant we bring in ANYONE to friggin compete with Ellison? The Bills just seem content to allow this huge hole remain on the Defense when they could easily fill with a young, talented LB. Our loss is the Bears gain.
  11. Can't we just move that team to LA and be done with it?
  12. He did do the play-by-play on his own practice highlights...oh man, the circus has arrived.
  13. Oh goodie...another year of Ellison starting.
  14. On the plus side, the Bills mini-camp is going to make ESPN tonight. On the negative side, it'll all be about Owens as he parts the seas and ascends into football heaven.
  15. I actually felt that way after the Raiders game last year when we got to 3-0. The place was freaking out and screaming at Raiders fans like we had just won the Superbowl. "Hand the ball to the ref, Bills fan! Act like you've done this before!"
  16. Here's video for when he arrived: http://www.wgrz.com/video/default.aspx?mid...0c38d56050935d5 Dear God...this next year is going to be crazy.
  17. Better deals at Tops?
  18. I think the Bills have pretty much made it clear they are going to go with Ellison at OLB this year. They keep bringing in these OLB FAs, and do nothing with them but wait until they sign with other teams. Ellison is, unfortunately, our guy.
  19. Very cool post Astro, I'd go with A1 and B2 myself. Sad to say, but the Bills will probably just decide to do nothing and go into training camp as is (even though they could EASILY help themselves by signing a guy like Pisa or Brooks.)
  20. And he's got three Superbowl rings. We have none. Just sayin'
  21. I dont dislike Kelsay because he cant get to the QB. I dislike Kelsay because he over-pursues any play headed in his direction, gets bowled over by RBs, manhandled by Offensive Tackles AND cant get to the QB. All while being paid 4 million dollars a year to do so. Other than that, he's peachy.
  22. The scene where he is falling down the cliff in a wheelchair...cracks...me...up...every damn time I see it.
  23. Puh-lease. Bruce getting busted for a DWI is like saying that it snows in the winter.
