Hey-ooo! Also just read on BuffaloBills.com that DiGiorgio did clear waivers and is back with the team on the Reserve/PUP list, which means he does NOT take up a roster space. So we're still standing at two spots open.

I've got to wonder how Byrd is not signed yet. Pick #41 is signed. Pick #43 is signed. Just add the two numbers up and divide by two, it's so easy! Obviously, there is more to it then that...but when all the picks around you are signed...AND you still have to hammer out deals for your first rounders, it would make sense to get Byrd's deal done as soon as possible

With Hairston's release, we now have 78 guys on roster. Even with the 3 unsigned draft picks on board, wouldn't we still have room for 2 more players? Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought the player cap was set at 83. I would just love to see the Bills ATTEMPT to get better and bring in some vets for depth purposes. EDIT: After doing some quick research, the cap could be at 80 players...can anyone help?

We keep freeing up these roster spots...what are we going to do with them?

The strange thing is, they clearly were interested in getting a starter to replace Keith Ellison. Look at the parade of OLBs they brought in during the offseason. They just couldn't sign any of them.

Bills are (for some ungodly reason) set with the roster. While I don't advocate signing Vick, the fact that this team seems happy with this current squad astounds me.

I love the Twitter fad with NFL players. Brian Moorman posted a tweet awhile ago claiming that him and Rian Lindell are hanging out watching a baseball game. They're not at the club? They're not making it rain? NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRDDDDSSSSSS!

I'm actually part of the party who feels that Vick paid his debt to society, so while what he did was disgusting...it wouldn't bother me to see the Bills sign him. It WOULD bother me because I just don't see how bringing in a backup QB who more than likely can't play until Week 6 would significantly alter our season. On the flip side of things, I can easily see how a craptacular O-Line and Keith "Pile On" Ellison manning a starting position will negatively impact this season. Money would be best spent elsewhere instead of signing Vick, methinks. I dont really know why we are debating this though, I think the Bills made it pretty clear they are satisfied with the squad they have now in all respects.

You know a great way for our team to get better? Maybe sign Derrick Brooks/Marcus Washington and plug them into the gaping hole on our Defense. Maybe sign Levi Jones to, at the very least, give quality backup depth to our O-Line. Signing a QB is not high on my list.

I've made peace with the fact I don't have either, but then again I bet YOU can't name all of the Thundercats. So there.

Without going into Maybin's skill level (because honestly I'll I've seen of him are from the highlight videos during the draft days), it does seem that he has an intense desire to play football and be the best at it. Others notice it in him too, otherwise guys like Ray Lewis or Lavar Arrington wouldn't be wasting their time mentoring him. The skill set is there, I just feel it might be 2 years before we see it fully on the field

My best guess? He signs with the Raiders. Al Davis loves this type of publicity and it kinda...sorta...makes sense if Russell ends up failing this year. Plus any chance for a reclamation project, Davis is all over it. As long as it's not with us, there is already a slim chance we build a focused team with TO on this squad. With Vick here as well, the circus would be never-ending.
