  1. Mucho bad karma for the Patriots.
  2. Leave it to a Patriots fan to unite Bills fans during an offseason of bickering.
  3. I just can't get excited over Ellison. I've tried to believe in him, but his on the field play casts him clearly in a backup role. We've seen 3 seasons of the guy and I have yet to see even a flash of starting talent when it matters.
  4. I'm glad Kelsay didn't step up, he would have taken the longest and most circular route to the podium
  5. Great work as usual John! And hey, if that's something that was really going to keep bothering Byrd throughout the season, it's a good thing he got it taken care of. He can take the next few weeks and absorb the playbook, catch up on all of that lost time a bit.
  6. Except that he's a Safety...and had 17 INTs in 3 years...and our current Safeties couldn't pick off a ball if their lives depending on it...
  7. I thought I read it was a sports hernia.
  8. I'm going to still go with my gut and say Oakland.
  9. If Drew Bledsoe is the ugly girl, what does that make Quincy Carter?
  10. As much as I hate to say we should copy ANYTHING that the Dallas Cowboys do, their merchandising department had a great idea. On their website, they have their jerseys organized by modern players and "retro/classic" players. So while I can easily get myself a replica Tony Romo jersey for 80 bucks, I could also get a Roger Staubach jersey just as easily for the same price. And they have well over 20+ players in each the modern and classic sections I wish the Bills would put out jerseys like this. Even though the eras don't quite match up, I'd love to get a Bruce Smith or Daryl Talley jersey in those nice white throwbacks rather than being forced to shell out the extra 50 bucks to customize it myself.
  11. Sports hernia. Should be out at least two weeks.
  12. He'll have to work real hard to be a factor this year, a sports hernia can really screw with you for months.
  13. I can assure you if I do change it, I'll find something equally annoying. Looking at it again, he kinda looks like Freddy Kreuger.
  14. They'll respond by signing a CB.
  15. It wouldn't suck, not like the Bills screwed up on this one. Every one of the 31 other teams would have cut him under the same circumstances. If he gets his act back together, good for him. Nobody can blame the Bills for cutting him when they did.
  16. Two plus two equals five unless Peter King says otherwise
  17. They do more scrimmage work for the Bills, thats for sure. Maybe half an hour of position practice then it's 7 on 7 or 11 on 11 depending on what time you go.
  18. The only other camp I've seen is the Giants in Albany. It's not too bad, nowhere near the same type of atmosphere though. They don't let you get as close to the players as they do with the Bills, but if you can get a bleacher seat you can see everything from a semi-comfortable distance.
  19. You and I will have to agree to disagree, I don't thinking bringing in a talented leader like Brooks could do anything but improve this squad. And as for our young, talented players at OLB (which is debatable since all I see is a player recovering from an ACL injury and a player too small to have a real position in the NFL) they would serve one year as a backup before moving into a starting position.
  20. Yeah, you're right. Who needs the premiere Cover 2 OLB of the decade, 11-time Pro Bowl, 6-time All Pro, NFL Defensive MVP and Super Bowl winner on this team? At the very worst, he's the same as Ellison. At the very best, he provides quality leadership, instant depth and a playmaker on the outside.
  21. So we can work out an old injured guy who hasn't played in the NFL for two years, but working out someone who played at a high level last year like Derrick Brooks is a no-no? The Bills confuse me.
