When you look at Spiller Number you can help but say WHAT IF!
So this is all about WHAT IF! .... This does not take in account potential for injuries or fumbles ect...
He is almost averaging 6.6 yards per carry...(which leads all RBs)
Spiller currently has 144 carries for 944 .... Maybe not mind blowing....
But when you consider he is the ONLY RB league with less than 150 carries, who currently has over 900 yards rushing...
Example: Vick Ballard has 146 carries ....562 yards, Darren McFadden has 150 carries for 502 yards.... Those are the only 2 RB's who carries come close to Spiller Carries....
So Now lets play "WHAT IF" .... Adrian Peterson leads the league in rushing...with 1,600 yards , on 265 carries... thats 121 more carries and 656 more yards than Spiller.....
So What If Spiller had 121 more that averaged 6.5 yards? that would equal 786.5 more carries
THAT ALONE would almost DOUBLE! Fred Jacksons production this year ....Fred Jackson has 437 yards on 115 carries.....
it Would Also bring his season total to 1'730 rushing.....With 3 games Left he'd have a GREAT chance at going over 2000 yards rushing
Some people would say...but if the har more carries his yard per carry would diminish.... Okay well lets say he averaged 5.5 yards per carry with the extra 121 ... that equal 665 more yards... Still more productive that Fred...and he'd still be leading the league in rushing barely edgeing Adrian Peterson...With a GOOD chance to go over 2,000 yards rushing
Even if you say he'd only 4.5 yards per carry with the extra 121 carries .... thats 544 yards (still more productive than Fred) and He'd be the 2nd Best RB in the league, only behind Adrian Peterson, with No one else even close...
Spiller behind the number has become an Elite RB, and this didnt even include his impact on the passing game (Barring Major injuries to Spiller or the O-line, I can see Spiller coming close to cracking the 2,000 yard club next year) ESPECIALLY if the "WHAT IF" really happens...
Truely Becoming one of the ELITE RB's in the league

Our season was over 3 week ago... Do anyone know exactly how lucky we'd have to be for us to make the play-offs even if we won out?
I not saying we tank the season wink,wink ... But I'd rather 5-11 than 7-9 or 8-8 ...two or three more wins ... Might be enough to give chan and staff another shot at this next year...
Also we are a few more losses and other team getting a few more wins from a top 5 pick in the draft ...
No time for Pride!

I am a huge Buckeye fan, and even tho we now have Urban Meyer is still breaks my heart that damn tatt's ended Tressel run at Ohio St.
He is rare coach, he is a motivator, a winner, and knows how to adjust and to maximize the talent placed around him...
One season he was heavy with running the ball...
Then another season it was about the deep ball ...
Then another season it was more of a west coast play-action offense ...
While always engaging the defense ... It is different coaching men, than college students...but he bring soo much confidence and poise ...
Things like this would make you excited about BUffalo Football ... Its not likely to happen but if it did WOW!

in SJ defense, he was never advertised as a big home run hitting WR....
He is a GREAT possession WR.... he will get you the first down catch, he can get into the open space, and he'll create just enough seperation for a QB to make the right pass.
I was a huge fan of fitz coming into the season, and his numbers are better than last year, but he has made this a hard season for his WR's... if its not underthrown its overthrown... that takes a toll on WR's mentally on the field

I still say to cover for the flaws in our LB core, we should blitz more.... four man rush is not effective in todays or yesterdays NFL with two good DE and two Disruptive tackles....
we have one DE ...Although Moore is on the come up....
we have one DT ...Almost Dareus shows flashes....
our LB core is average at best...during games you dont ever hear about them making plays...we need to give them a chance...

im sure its been said...but its like comparing Aldon smith or von Spiller Production to Dareus .... too totally different positions and expectations....
Dareus is a space eater, and his job mostly revolves around occupying space... last year it was more about attacking and he was stunning....
Right now this is a Tecmo Bowl defense ...its the same formation just gotta hope that we guess right

Get rid of the AFC vs NFC
Create a Team A and B Format ...
Then Do a lottery type selection ..qb's, rb, wr, db, lb ect....
So each team would be mixed and matched with star players in the league ...
Tom Brady could end up throw to Calvin johnson .... Tillman matched up against Brandon Marshall .... Ect ....
That would be fun to watch...

Fitz is in the Middle of the Pack......truth is his QBR and whatever else would have been higher this year if the defense was better... No one thought he could carry a team...but he is good enough to win on offense... Just not good or great enough to win with the worst defense in the league

All the more reason to play a 5-2 defense ...over a 4-3 ...Moore ans Williams would be increidble

I hope that's the pass that end the Fitzpatrick era ....
I went into the half with HOPE that we'd make it a decent game ... Since then he has overthrown Spiller and Stevie .... And he has 3 to's that have led to 21 pts
