Good Analysis. After watching the game again, I agree with most of your points. On the big runs, Edmunds completely took himself out the plays. He was not blocked and was nowhere near the RB. His lack of instinct is concerning. He needs experience to improve, but it is going to be a painful process as a Bills fan. Milano also took himself out of a few plays, but not as bad as Edmunds.

Logan Thomas made several nice blocks in the run game last week. He is improving. With Croom coming on, yes O’ Leary is on the fence

I tuned out Bill Simmons many years ago, due to his whiny voice and Boston homerism. Just one of those guys I can't stand. So it's been at least a few years since I read or listened to anything he produced. But I will give him credit, that this is a pretty good list of rules. Don't agree with number 9 that it's OK to root against your team and bet against your team (generally a bad idea to bet real money in either direction involving your favorite team). Otherwise it's a consistent and well reasoned rules of fandom.

Don’t forget QB

It's amazing that people are actually agreeing with the OP. As the roster stands now, the Bills WR receiving corp is easily bottom 5 in the league. Need at least 1 speed guy who can catch. It would be nice to have a little talent to at least give McCarron a fighting chance to prove himself as a starting QB.

Brutal. EJ Manuel but worse. At least w EJ they got extra picks. Giving up 2 extra picks for the inaccurate dolt is tough to take. Can’t believe they passed up Rosen. Only saving grace is that AZ scooped Rosen before the Fish. If NYJ and Miami both scored stud QBs on top of Bills screwup it would’ve been over the top. Rosen. He has an efficient delivery an is very accurate. Every time I watched him, just thinking he looks like a top NFL QB. Darnold has that funky motion, which does work, but worries. I do love Darnold's mentality.

I voted J. Allen. Although I think his chances of success are slightly higher than Lamar Jackson. There are higher expectations for Allen and he will be a higher pick, so bigger bust potential.

It probably was a mistake b/c if he picked Mahomes instead of McCaffrey, they may have taken Alvin Kamara in Round 2. The Panthers would have a better version of a McCaffrey style RB, could still be playing in the playoffs and would have a great bargaining chip with Mahomes on the roster. But it is tough to use a top 10 pick on a QB when you already have a highly paid franchise QB with Newton and I don't think Beane had final say in Panthers draft. It would definitely have impacted the Bills b/c the Chiefs would likely not have made the trade up unless they went for D. Watson

Cheaters, Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics, and Harvard Crimson too. I have a serious issue with many of their fans. NE only surpassed the Dolphins as my most hated team in the last 5 years. Usually root for NY Giants now out of gratitude for beating Brady and b/c I don't like the Cowboys.

Henry has significantly outperformed Murray. So not good news that they won’t be sharing carries. If either Henry in Tennessee or Drake in Miami has 25+ carries on the stat sheet tomorrow afternoon, Bills are likely done for the year.
