  1. That article made me think of Jerry Sullivan. I love it that NE fans have to deal with their season being over with 9 games to play, and get read depressing articles for the next 2 months.
  2. I think it's because he's not as naturally heavy in the trunk as other NFL D lineman. It takes more effort for him to anchor down, especially on double teams. Which leads to the occasional low light of getting pushed back several yards. But the athleticism allows him to get around blocks and penetrate the backfield if he can get leverage. Besides the awesome punch out yesterday, he causes 2 penalties on the pass rush. Both reversed completions of more than 15 yards.
  3. I rewatched the game. That was a terrific hard hitting energetic game The Bills D played with urgency that last drive and finally made a big play. proud to be a fan of this team. Hardly embarrassing
  4. Boettger. Stepped in and they did a great job running left. Diggs.
  5. Thanks for the nice post. It’s great to see the NE fans experience what it’s like to have their season over at the half way mark. Even the Jets won’t find a way to screw up by not taking Lawrence. Although I hope they do.
  6. Seriously, the OP is posting one of Bills best most impactful plays in the last 20 years, as a negative? Anyway, thanks for posting. I gladly watched it about 10 times in á row
  7. The Bills are better without Cody Ford, compared to Feliciano, Boettiger, and even Winters. If Morse is out for an extended period, it will be interesting to see if they put Ford in.
  8. The 2 losses to NE last year were disappointing. Bills outplayed them for stretches of both games. Losing this game would be very upsetting. But would not top blowing a 16 - 0 lead in the playoffs . Although a loss would suck psychologically , the Bills would still be in 1st place through 8 games.

  10. On paper it seems that Milano should be easier to replace in McD's defense. But when you watch the games he is more impactful than Edmunds, and there is big difference in a negative way, when Milano is off the field. The whole defense just seems more disruptive and offenses don't look as dialed-in with Matt M on the field. Klein's deficiencies certainly make him look even better. Milano wasn't on the field for many of the Jets running plays yesterday. Thankfully, he was playing on the Jets 4th down try and came crashing in to disrupt the play and help stuff it for no gain. You just don't see the Bills other LBs make those plays with any frequency. When you hear about about a $12 - $14 million / year long term contract, it sure seems high. But I don't think the Bills will be able to replace him so easily. And they've wasted money in worse ways in the past.
  11. Milano. I know he had limited snaps. But it was a huge noticeable difference when he was in the game compared to Klein.
  12. With limited options at TE and without Brown he will be active. And why elevate and not activate?
  13. that's a perfect response
  14. Philly is going to win their division. Fletcher Cox is an awesome player, though probably not realistic.
  15. If you watch Ford’s run blocking the last 3 games it’s hard to understand how he has been starting. He makes initial contact and is OK, but rarely finishes or sustains a block. To answer the OP’s question, LG is a position that can be immediately improved from within the roster. It makes me think something is wrong with Spain physically. And / or it is politically motivated. The Bills management wants to give the guy they traded up for in the 2nd round every opportunity. i believe most replacement level NFL guards would do better and certainly not worse. Seriously rewatch Ford’s performance and then tell me I’m wrong
  16. Yep and still have to prove they can beat NE. Truly only the Jets game looks like a lay up. The Bills are going to need to improve. if they can win their division games they’ll be OK for a playoff spot. The good thing is the tough schedule should condition them to be ready for playoff level competition this year.
  17. Sorry to see him get hurt. But getting Ford out of the line up will be a big plus, especially if Feliciano can return by the Patriots game. Watch any of the last 3 games and Ford just can’t sustain a run block. I can’t imagine Spain or Boettger doing worse.
  18. It’s the correct business decision. The Bills legal team has been negligent in not filing for the TM 2 - 3 years ago.
  19. Who’s better on the Bills now?
  20. Almost any head snapping hit is a penalty now. Even shoulder to chest. Blindside, defenseless receiver, etc They will find a reason to throw the flag. It’s to the point in college that if you can get 2 stops in a half, your ahead the game.
  21. The problem is you can’t hit a guy hard Anymore. It’s a penalty. And in college many clean hits the last few years have lead to ejections. Ole Miss and Alabama are both going over 600 yds of O tonight. It’s ridiculous
  22. That's what you get for putting the NE* QB on your team.
