  1. When we played the Jags it was the early Sunday game
  2. I saw Anthony Walker get banged up, but I didn’t see D Leonard come off the field. He was playing late in the 4th QTR. What happened? Was it a contact or non-contact injury?
  3. Thanks for sharing the details. Have fun, and cheer like crazy for all of us who want to be there, but can't. I am curious about how they are enforcing the non-transferrable and id requirement. If you were not able to go personally, would you be able to give your tix to a family member or friend? Or do you personally need to attend with the group? Will you be able to text or email the tix to the other 3 in your group or do you need to present all 4 tix at the gate?
  4. It was a stadium employee, and maybe it was more of a direct instruction than a warning "You need to roll up your windows if your going to sit in the car" given to both my car and the people in the other car we were talking with. And I didn't push the issue, just followed instructions. When we arrived I did ask a security guard what the rules were, and he said any tailgating was cause for ejection. The cars were parked side by side, like normal. Arrived around 11:15 and parked super close to the stadium (it was empty compared to normal) way closer than ever parked that close at any stadium before. I did pay extra b/c one of guys I was with had an injury and long walk was an issue for him. Inside the stadium were very spaced out. We were a block of 4 on the aisle, only 2 other people in a row of 24 seats, at least 10 seats between us. And no one 2 rows in front or 2 rows behind.
  5. No, but he has experience from his HS games in Hawaii
  6. I went to the game in Miami. They enforced it strong. If they do it in FL , definitely will in NY. They have security and real police walking the lots. You could stay in your car to eat / drink, but no standing outside. We Even got a warning for having our windows down and talking to people in the car next to us. BTW with 13,000 in Hard Rock stadium it felt totally empty. The atmosphere at Bills Stadium w only 6,700 will be bizarre. But it will be awesome to see this team play for those who get to go. You get a different appreciation seeing the whole field and viewing the Bills O live. After witnessing them in week 2, I knew it would be a special year.
  7. We didn't need to look to individual accomplishments before either. It's always been about team building and winning games. One of the fun parts about being a fan is rooting for specific players and tracking how they do vs. current competition and history. Beasley has been a big factor in Bills winning games the last 2 seasons and he has far exceeded my expectations since the Bills signed him. He's in his 9th season and this will likely be as close as he ever comes to 1,000 yards. I don't see anything wrong with cheering for him to reach the milestone and realizing that it's a disappointment for him that he will likely come up short due to the injury. It doesn't take anything away from the team goal. In fact, it adds to the team accomplishments when players reach their personal goals. Has nothing to do with resting Diggs or anyone else, if McD and team decide that's best for their playoff prep.
  8. Main thing is for him to be ready for playoffs. Assuming he doesn’t play next week, sucks that he’ll come up just short of 1,000 yards.
  9. There have not been 1 pm Saturday games for many years. I prefer Saturday either slot. Win and then sit back and enjoy the Sunday games. Plus you get the extra rest day.
  10. With a solid stable organization and a healthy franchise QB, you should expect to be above .500 every year. Only Looking at years the franchise QB played all 16 games. - Rodgers only years at .500 or below. GB went 6 - 10 in 2008 (his first full year starting) and 6-9-1 in 2018. Otherwise winning record and I believe in playoffs. - Roethlisberger. Only once at .500, 8 - 8 in 2013. All other healthy years, Steelers had a winning record. - Rivers - He had a few down years. 2015 4-12, 2016 5-11, 2019 5 - 11. But, the majority of his seasons have been double digit wins. I would say Chargers not as stable as Pitt and GB, and whereas Big Ben and Rodgers have been top 5 QBs most of their career, Rivers has been more like top 10 and even lower in recent years. It's the exception that proves the rule, but franchise QB and organizational stability are still most predictive for sustained success.
  11. Good chance that Webb will play next week and maybe tonight. I expect Barkley still #2, but they want to limit risk to both Josh and Barkley. Secondarily, it could be a reward to Webb for being a good soldier. I have read that he has been a very good process guy since he got to Buffalo, especially in scout team and weathering all the BS everyone has had to endure with Covid.
  12. My thought is the Bills should go all out (play as usual) tonight, to wrap up the 3 seed at worst. Then you make a decision which guys to rest in the last game, depending on health, or pull guys early based on game situation. Depending which match up, you prefer there is some luck involved. Let's say you prefer not to play Ravens in round 1. If Baltimore wins and Miami wins against Buffalo next week, then Baltimore will stay in the 6th seed and play the 3 seed. So then it comes down to CLE beating PIT to make the playoffs as 7 seed against the 2 see Bills. There's also the scenario where both BAL and CLE lose and the Ravens back in as the 7th seed, and the Bills keep 2 seed and play them anyway. I also expect PIT to lose in the first round, which would give the Bills potential for 2nd home game even from the 3 seed.
  13. Funny that GBs OC and DC are both ex-Bills coordinators
  14. Or the Browns win along w Steelers loss. Not sure why so few are reporting that.
  15. Fitzmagic strikes again. That was an amazing finish. Glad because I want to squish the fish in the playoffs. Hopefully Bills have 2 seed wrapped up Monday night. Would definitely prefer to play Tua.
  16. Rooting for the Dolphins is like hoping for the Bills to lose for draft picks. But I really think the Dolphins getting the 7 seed is the best match up for the Bills
  17. Caldwell would be #1 for me. He never should've been fired in Detroit. Frazier, McDaniel, and Dennis Allen all have recently been part of winning organizations and seem to have the temperament (level-headed) and intelligence to have learned from experience and do a good job with their next opportunity. Although, there would be trust issues with McDaniel after he burned Indy and since he is a known and repetitive cheater.
  18. And this gives them a 99% chance at 2 seed after week 16 Bills Win Steelers Loss Cleveland win over Jets. would take a tie between Browns & Steelers in week 17, Week 17 Bills loss & Titans win to knock them back to #3. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2020/12/22/22194769/afc-playoff-picture-buffalo-bills-can-clinch-the-two-seed-in-week-16-with-help
  19. Yes Harrison and Landry are in the same league. Bryan Cox division.
  20. Rodney Harrison was a dirty arrogant player. And now he is an arrogant dip sh*t on TV. Just because he can see that J. Allen is playing amazing ball and recognizes that Bills have a solid organization, it doesn't absolve him of being a total jerk for 20 years.
  21. Play this week unless strong probability of aggravating the injury. Would like him on the field to Crush. NE and help wrap up 2 seed. Then sit whoever you want in week 17
  22. In order of most preferred. Very Confident Steelers Dolphins Like our chances - But scary due to certain match ups Browns Ravens Colts Beatable with very strong performance from Bills Titans Chiefs
  23. If The Bills win against NE amd the Colts beat Pitt, and GB beats the Titans, then Bills should clinch 2 seed. Indy and Cleveland already have 4 conf losses
  24. Did Bills fans actually say that? This was our day from start to finish
  25. Cheers everyone. Enjoy the celebration
