  2. Big money goes around the world Big money underground Big money got a mighty voice Big money make no sound Big money pull a million strings Big money hold the prize Big money weave a mighty web Big money draw the flies
  3. I'm guessing this is one of the well-known Russian composers...Stravinsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Tchaikowski?
  4. I'd sit alone and watch your light My only friend through teenage nights And everything I had to know I heard it on my radio You gave them all those old time stars Through wars of worlds invaded by Mars You made 'em laugh, you made 'em cry You made us feel like we could fly So don't become some background noise A backdrop for the girls and boys Who just don't know, or just don't care And just complain when you're not there You had your time, you had the power You've yet to have your finest hour Radio (radio)
  5. I'm getting a 60s music vibe here...kind of a Mac Davis/Glenn Campbell feeling but more west coast. I have no name for you, but I'm thinking west coast music in the 60s
  6. Don't recall how we did it when just playing backyard/sandlot football, but the organized youth football played by Canadian rules (3 downs, longer field, etc.)
  7. Played youth football for a couple of years when I lived in East Amherst in the early 70s, then played a couple of years in Canada. Stopped playing when I was ~12...wasn't very good and focused on hockey instead.
  8. late 1800s/turn of the century? Eyes and mouth make me think Dwight Eisenhower.
  9. I knew right from the beginning That you would end up winning I knew right from the start You'd put an arrow through my heart Round and round With love we'll find a way, just give it time Round and round What comes around goes around I'll tell you why
  10. It looks just like I remember when I was last there in the early 70s.
  11. Was he in arts or literature (artist or writer)?
  12. I'm getting a Slavic vibe here...is this Putin as a child?
  13. Was living in MA at the time, and had a family obligation that kept me from watching the game until...and I kid you not...right after the Oilers' pick-6 at the start of the 3rd quarter. The rest is history, and it's all because I was finally able to tune in. You're welcome.
  14. The evening plane rises up from the runway Over constellations of light I look down into a million houses And wonder what you're doing tonight
  15. Liked the Drake from State Farm one. The Toyota commercial (which never mentioned cars at all and only had Toyota logo at the end) about the para-olympic swimmer hit home with me (old sap that I am). Not sure why, but I laughed out loud at the short Zyrtec commercial near the end of the broadcast with the guy having a sneezing attack during outdoor couples yoga/stretching. Alexa commercial with Michael B. Jordan was great...as someone else mentioned, I was a bit surprised that the "wet" comment made it through.
  16. Isn't that Tarzan? Ron Ealy (not sure of that spelling)?
  17. I turn my face to the sun Close my eyes Let my defenses down All those wounds that I can't get unwound I let my past go too fast No time to pause If I could slow it all down Like some captain, whose ship runs aground I can wait until the tide comes around (Time stand still) I'm not looking back But I want to look around me now (Time stand still) See more of the people and the places that surround me now
  18. Can we get an Ataboy for Ataturk?
  19. Sunshine go away today I don't feel much like dancing Some man's gone, he's tried to run my life Don't know what he's asking He tells me I'd better get in line Can't hear what he's saying When I grow up I'm going to make it mine But these aren't dues I been paying How much does it cost, I'll buy it The time is all we've lost, I'll try it But he can't even run his own life I'll be damned if he'll run mine, Sunshine
  20. Baby Breakdown Go ahead and give it to me Breakdown honey take me through the night Breakdown now I'm standing here can't you see Breakdown, it's alright It's alright It's alright
  21. I looked in the mirror today My eyes just didn't seem so bright I've lost a few more hairs I think I'm, I'm going bald
  22. This video is a nice encapsulation of what I hate most about Brady...nothing is ever his fault. It's always the receiver, the coach, the ref, etc. who f's up, never him. Can't deny his success and record, but Tom has always been the ultimate "me" player.
  23. Then it's gotta be John Dillinger.
  24. Looks a bit like Bill O'Brien, but no way that it is given that this looks like a WWI-era picture.
