If they can a la carte sports (in theory) they should a la carte ALL channels on television. I know of many channels on my DirecTv package that I don't want and would rather pay for something I do want. It may never happen because the networks make the carriers place some of these cr@p channels on air as part of a packaged deal. A lot of these channels would disappear or alter programming if it were a la carte and the consumers who chose that channel for their package controlled the market. I would pay for sports, depending on price. However, I'm just as comfortable listening to a hockey game or baseball game on the radio as I am watching it on TV. Most of my favorite teams are local to me so I can hear them on radio; the Bills can be found on my smart phone through Tune In Radio (does the Bills App carry the games?).

Good luck to the Sabres this season and to all you Sabres fans. I follow the Blues and I'm optimistic about their prospects for the season. Having two very good goalies (Brian Elliot, Jaroslav Halak) should be beneficial in a compressed season; they should be fresh by splitting duties. They've added a couple of young kids: Vlademir Tarasenko and Jaden Schwartz (has a sister Mandi who died from Leukemia). Tarasenko will be on the roster; Schawrtz will be up-and-down from their minor-league club in Peoria, IL. The question is if they will get enough scoring and have a physical presence when it's needed (playoffs).

I was too young to recall any of the "Ground Chuck" Era of the Bills but I wish I could have seen it in person: Bermuda Triangle and Joe Cribbs being my favorites to read about from that time. Talkin' Proud! -

Yes, I think I got maybe 1/3 to 1/2 correct. You have 15 seconds to answer each of the 50 questions- type in the answers. It stinks they don't give you your score. They can contact you to audition up to a year from the date of the test so an invite can come out of the blue. Oh well, it was worth the experience. -
Whatever happened to "Clumping Platelets" on this board? Clump always had the best info about cap space for the Bills.

I listen via TuneIn app. I haven't heard it recently but do they still play the Len-Co Lumber jingle? I mean, that is seriously a jingle with that corny song. -

I signed up as well. I love to play trivia so this is up my alley. Who knows how well I'll do but it can't hurt to try. -
He was great in the ensemble cast of "Twelve Angry Men". Rest in peace.

Pretty much a cookie-cutter effort from a group named Elliott, Walter and Bennett: Same melody and similar lyrics:

Jenna Fischer from The Office? -
Just to clarify, I have the charge wrong. He's been charged with Intoxication Manslaughter. I'm not too sure what the difference is but I was incorrect with the title of this thread. At some point this "invincible" mentality has to be eliminated from these players' heads. I wonder if a form of the Rookie Symposium needs to be hosted annually for the teams to remind the players about the pitfalls in life.

http://twitter.com/m...8183425/photo/1 Dallas Cowboys Defensive Tackle Josh Brent was arrested this morning after crashing his car at a high rate of speed. A teammate from the Cowboys (and teammate at the University of Illinois) Jerry Brown was pronounced dead at the scene. http://www.rantsport...n-manslaughter/ Brown was a Linebacker on the practice squad.

If you're into downloading torrents of concerts you can find several recent Graham Parker shows (including that 11/30 show from the Theater for the Living Arts) at Dime A Dozen dot org. -
Care to share a link to the product or do you have the specs?

I uploaded my photos to the gallery of the cheerleaders getting their heads shaved. These pictures were taken off the monitors in the corners of the stadium. -
Wife and I ended up getting dinner at the Weber Grill Saturday night- highly recommend this place if you are in downtown Indianapolis! I got a half-rack of ribs that were very good. My wife ordered the beef brisket and the Blackened Angus Meatloaf (with prime rib in it)- great recommendation by the server! Excellent entree. Afterward, we walked through the Circle Centre Mall- some of Hochuli's crew were in there (not Ed himself). Then we walked over to Monument Square and took photos of the monument lit in Christmas lights. We also stopped in a Candy Store that had all kinds of old-fashioned candies and sodas- Root Beers, Srawberry sodas, etc. They even had a Buffalo Wing Sauce soda and a Bacon-flavored soda among the unique flavors.

I got some pictures off the JumboTron (our seats were four rows from the top so no close-to-the-field pictures). I can upload them later; a fellow cheerleader on the team- who has beaten leukemia herself- shaved her head as well. After she shaved her head she continued to perform and when they showed her on the screen she got a standing ovation. Also, early in the 4th during a timeout Jim Irsay brought out Chuck Pagano in front of the Owner's Suite and got a standing ovation as well. Sorry if this news is redundant, I just got home from the game and deleted the game on the DVR. -
Glad I brought my shirt and hoodie with the standing buffalo. Kind of a way to honor Ernie Warlick's passing today.
