@ClaytonESPN John Clayton reminding everyone that the minimum spend of 89 percent doesn't start until 2013.
I assumed teams had to spend at least 90% of cap beginning this year. So the Bills don't have to spend the money any time soon.

No matter how loaded with talent the Pats* get they won't be able to escape the 18-1 season until they win another Super Bowl, IMO. Add all the Pro Bowlers you want, but they have not produced championships with them on the roster the past six seasons.
I know we should be so lucky as Bills fans to have that issue.

Who's Burnett?
Mark Burnett, the creator of 'Survivor' and other reality TV. They're producing a training camp series by following the Bills and their participation in Free Agency. It's gonna be called 'Asleep At the Wheel.'

From the online article: "Amy Jackson likes to have fun in her seventh grade language arts class at Claxton Middle School."
Apparently, a truer statement has never been said about Ms. Jackson.

Hip hip hooray if Forest turns into the next Ray Guy, but don't get your hopes up that Moorman won't still be the guy on 9/11 against KC.
Agreed. It's all about saving the leg during camp. It might be a longshot to unseat Moorman but you never know. Maybe if Moorman gets hurt during the season you have Reid Forest on speed dial?

No mention of Adam Weber, QB, Minnesota yet. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Beersphere was the one who noted the Bills may have interest in signing Weber as a UDFA. Just waiting to see if the article he referenced was correct in that theory.

Have any of you who have signed up for text alerts from the Bills received any in the past few days? I'm signed up but want to be sure I am receiving the updates for any player movements this week. I did receive the response text from the Bills when I signed up, but that was a few weeks ago.

I'd guess there's no stadium already in place for them and I'd guess it would be ridiculously expensive to build the Dodgers a new Ebbets Field.

A P1 is someone that listens to their station 100% of the time. I consider myself one. The only times I don't
listen is when I walk to R & B Hip Hop while I walk my daily 5K and when I can't watch my Rangers and have to listen to their station. The Ticket is the play by play radio station of the Dallas Stars. I live in Arlington
Texas. My house is 5 miles south of Cowboy Stadium and The Ballpark in Arlinton.
In listening this week I heard Fake Jerrah Jones and this morning they had a Platinum-Level Astronaut call in (referring to Musers morning show).

Yes!! It is The Ticket. Would someone be able to listen to MLB baseball games on this TuneIn app?
Is this one of those "free" ones or is there a charge? I support my Rangers but have interests in
other teams and would like to listen to their games too. I recently upgraded my cell to an iPhone3G S.
They can't broadcast the baseball games due to legalities. There are some sports that are broadcast (CFL, soccer). The free version of the app lets you listen; the Pro version adds recording options. I first heard about The Ticket (and their Drops Page) from a friend who went to U.of Texas. There are some funny clips on that page. By the way, what exactly is a P1?

Since it's looking like there will be a full season I thought I'd bump this thread back towards the top.
If I can get to Cincy I'd love to go to the game October 2nd. Anyone else considering this game? Should this thread be moved to the Tailgating Forum?

Not really....heard ALL about this on my sports talk station the other day here in the DFW area.
Would that station be The Ticket? I've had the chance to listen to them the last week or so thanks to the TuneIn Radio app for phones. I really love this app; I can bounce around stations locally/nationally/globally. I tune into WGR to listen to Jim Rome around mid-day.

I mentioned this on the Shout Box..... I've been listening to WGR for the Jim Rome Show (and hopefully some Bills-related talk) for a few weeks. I am sick and tired of every other commercial being Mama Pecorarro. "WE NEED MORE PEPPERS!" Enough! I can easily sympathize with those of you who've been listening a lot longer to WGR and had to put up with this. And Schopp and Bulldog.... thankfully I have other options because I am not impressed. They don't keep me engaged in their conversations. They aren't funny and they don't give me much to think about.
I would make a suggestion- if anyone from WGR is reading this thread: Hire Coach Sal Capaccio. The man knows his sports; knows his Buffalo sports; and will be straight-forward and not come off as abrasive. If his broadcasts online are any indication, he would bring in the listeners and spark some lively conversations with them. Plus, maybe he could attract other advertisers besides Lakefront Automotive (or whoever Pecorarro is with).
