We have five capable WR's and the draft hasn't even happened yet. But keep freaking out.

Watson was chosen at #12 and he's a beast. Prescott was chosen in the 4th round. Garoppolo and Carr both 2nd round picks. Russ Wilson and Nick Foles 3rd rounders. Cousins a 4th rounder. These aren't outliers. Evaluating quarterbacks is hard as hell.

Opposing quarterbacks are going to have to take snaps from the tackle.

There's no slam-dunk quarterback. You improve your odds of obtaining one by increasing your number aka accumulating draft pick quantity. Not giving draft picks away. Draft one at 12 then one again in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Trading up for JP Losman (2004) and Sammy Watkins (2014) come to mind.

Quarterbacks are 95% crap shoot. That's why it's not intelligent to give up an entire cupboard of draft picks to get one. Especially when there will still be quality ones available when it's your time to pick.

How do you know they like Rosen?

Browns would be idiots passing on Darnold and the Bills would be even more idiotic to trade all their picks only to choose a quarterback who sucks. Not sure what the hell that has to do with being a joyful presence as a child. But you keep doing you.

The ACC is year-in and year-out one of the most NFL-talented conferences in the nation. So, yes.

Landry and Petty were never considered first-round or even second-round talents. Neither had nearly the same size and downfield accuracy that Rudolph has. Landry never finished better than 24th in the country in passer rating. I don't know why you keep bringing them up. Because they played in the Big 12? So did Pat Mahomes, Baker Mayfield and Andy Dalton. Jimmy Garappolo, Jared Goff, Case Keenum and Deshaun Watson all played in similar spread/shotgun/no-huddle offenses in college. The days of writing off quarterbacks just because of the system they played in are over.

The thought of trading three firsts, a second, a third, etc. for either Rosen, Allen or Mayfield scares the crap out of me. Rosen and Allen because I just don't think they're good football players (and Rosen is injury-prone). And while Mayfield is a special talent he lacks self-control and imo will struggle in the transition from big man on campus to professional. . Rudolph won't get past the Patriots and Belichick will continue torturing us for decades even after Brady retires.
