  1. Lynch is 6-7, 245. Excellent athlete. Put him on a Tight End diet and in the weight room for a year and see what happens.
  2. Perhaps they're working him out to convince him to transition to Tight End?
  3. Working out Paxton Lynch tomorrow. They should also work out Webb, Connor Cook, Landry Jones, Cardale, Josh Woodrum, Joe Callahan, Nic Shimonek, Logan Woodside, and Connor Jessup. No downside to kicking the tires on players. . I don't think there are many teams out there with only two QB's on their entire 63 man team (which includes the practice squad).
  4. That's what coaches are for.
  5. I don't see the point of adding an old bum to the QB room.
  6. Signing Webb to the practice squad would be fantastic.
  7. I would sign Davis Webb to the 53 man roster right now if I were Beane. At the very least to the practice squad if he agrees to that. He might think it's his best opportunity. Here is the list of free agent quarterbacks recently released. Most have Practice Squad eligibility... Nic Shimonek (Rookie UDFA Chargers, Texas Tech) - #388 draft prospect Logan Woodside (Rookie 7th Round pick Bengals, Toledo) - #423 draft prospect Connor Jessop (Rookie UDFA Redskins, Shepherd University) - N/A Paxton Lynch (2) Connor Cook (2) Joe Callahan (2) Tom Savage (4/-) Landry Jones (5/-) Cardale Jones (2/1) Josh Woodrum (2/-) EJ Manuel (5/4) Joe Webb (8/1) Here is the list of quarterbacks recently signed to practice squads (Bills would need to add them to their 53 man roster)... Chase Litton (Rookie UDFA Chiefs, Marshall) - #379 draft prospect - Chiefs Practice Squad Luis Perez (Rookie UDFA Rams, TAM Commerce) - #413 - Rams Practice Squad Tanner Lee (Rookie 7th Round Jaguars, Nebraska) - #432 - Jaguars Practice Squad JT Barrett (Rookie UDFA Saints, Ohio State) - #466 - Saints Practice Squad Danny Etling (Rookie 7th Round Patriots, LSU) - #491 - Patriots Practice Squad Charles Kanoff (Rookie UDFA Cardinals, Princeton) - N/A - Cardinals Practice Squad Nick Muellens (1) - 49ers Practice Squad Phillip Walker (1) - Colts Practice Squad Jake Rudock (2) - Lions Practice Squad Christian Hackenberg (2/-) - Bengals Practice Squad Tyler Bray (5/-) - Bears Practice Squad
  8. I'd surprised if they don't bring in a young QB on the practice squad to develop through the season. I think that's what the delay is in filling out the rest of the squad.
  9. "He is a great player." Draft Diamonds is funny. After spending the entire 2017 season on the practice squad, Reilly earned a chance to really step his game up in 2018 and make the 53-man roster and make an impact on a poor WR unit. He failed to do so. I'm sure it wasn't for lack of trying but Reilly has a very limited ceiling and he just didn't improve enough for the Bills to decide they should continue to invest in him.
  10. Goodwin used to fake injuries all the time IMO. Didn't want to hurt his track career and chance at making the Olympics. Once that ended, his injuries were over. What a coincidence.
  11. Zay Jones nearly died.
  12. Both are unemployed veterans who are unlikely to ever play a regular season snap in the NFL again. Quite comparable.
  13. A wide receiver with drops and route running problems. Sounds like a perfect fit.
  14. If they were so desperate to need the services of a dime-a-dozen journeyman receiver then they would have just kept Streater on the roster.
  15. He already got divorced and remarried?
  16. He's just a guy. Rod Streater is better than Deonte Thompson.
  17. How am I feeling about this roster? I already booked an Atlanta hotel room for the first weekend in February.
  18. Why are so many Bills fans obsessed with Deonte Thompson? It's borderline creepy.
  19. Bengals cut DE Michael Johnson. Vikings cut WR Kendall Wright Ravens cut WR Breshad Perriman
