  1. Has Zay Jones' father bullied anyone on Twitter recently?
  2. The only thing that I "hope" is that it doesn't come to that, Allen shows demonstrated progress throughout these next two months and that by December he's showing signs of greatness.
  3. And if the head coach is not capable of developing that quarterback sufficiently, we need to bring in a head coach and staff that can. You think Beane and the Pegulas are going to sacrifice their quarterback for the defensive head coach? I don't.
  4. It's not nonsense unless this team wants to continue to suck for years to come. Even McDermott admits on a consistent basis that it's a quarterback-driven league.
  5. Can you say hot seat?
  6. Doubtful that a team would trade for Clay considering that contract. He will likely finish out this season with the Bills then we can finally get rid of the worst contract in the league.
  7. LA could have given Jeff Fisher all of those toys on offense and they still would have been mediocre and Goff would be labeled a bust. That’s how important Sean McVay has been.
  8. Whether McDermott is here in 2019 or a DC/Secondary coach elsewhere all depends on what Allen looks like in December.
  9. McDermott’s seat will get very hot if Allen continues looking like a train wreck. Likely won’t see 2019 if that’s the case. Too many bright young offensive football minds out there.
  10. He should’ve been used more on offense Sunday. Daboll gave up on the run game too quickly and set a rattled rookie up to fail.
  11. Kelvin Benjamin is a high character guy? ?
  12. Completion percentage in college is a product of the system the QB runs. Although your second point is a good one. Looks like the NFL is finally catching up with regard to offensive innovation.
  13. I keep seeing this. Which “vet”? They signed McCarron and Peterman was better. Any street FA you put out there would suck massive balls and insane pressure would be on McDermott to start the rookie.
  14. Quarterbacks who spent their colleges years chucking the ball around in Air Raid offenses don’t exactly have the greatest NFL track record.
  15. Their situations aren’t comparable. Mahomes played in an innovative, pass-happy spread offense. Allen played in a system directly out of a playbook from 1955.
  16. It’s not an ideal situation but he does have the ability to learn so hopefully that area improves. It’s not exactly rocket science.
  17. McDermott should be running the ‘switch to left hand flip for gain of 3’ offense! Idiots should be fired.
  18. Players who can make catches while covered don’t need separation. Benjamin used to be that guy. For some reason he caught a case of the dropsies and has shown very little effort to fight for balls. That’s been the issue - not separation.
  19. Yeah, why didn’t they hire Andy Reid as their offensive coordinator?! Idiots should be fired for that.
  20. There are always receivers open enough to be thrown to in the NFL. Every play. Look at Rosen's pass that I posted in this thread. That receiver wasn't remotely open. Rosen threw him open with a perfect pass. Allen needs to throw those. If that results in more picks because Allen isn't throwing an accurate ball, then we can blame his accuracy instead of his tentativeness. If that results in more picks because his receivers have no ball skills, then we can blame his receivers.
