  1. You must have been in the bathroom on those throws today.
  2. Totally predictable, though. Football fans, in general, are basically neanderthals.
  3. Which passes specifically did Allen not complete today that you'd expect a 1st round talent rookie to complete? Keep in mind he had 11 completions and 6 incompletions.
  4. If only Captain Dimarco knew the rules of football and how to line up correctly.
  5. The bar is low. His was terrible in his first start (Chargers). Vikings game he showed flashes in what was an anomaly. Atrocious against the Packers. The last two games he's made steady progress - especially today IMO considering the environment. That said - progress isn't perfectly linear. Life doesn't work that way. There are ups and downs. Five games isn't nearly enough of a sample size to make that determination. In the end you just hope the forward steps outnumber the backward steps.
  6. Allen showed more poise and better decisions today than at any point the last two games. In a very tough environment. That's progress.
  7. Open wide receivers? Are we still talking about the Buffalo Bills?
  8. What "progress" are you guys referring to? Is it a specific statistic you're looking at? Or are you expecting one week he's going to suddenly be Tom Brady and until that happens, there's no progress?
  9. Where did I say it was acceptable?
  10. If the team doesn't win, then it's not acceptable. Who are you talking to?
  11. His first pass attempt was his only bad throw. And one of his two sacks was on him. Those were his only two poor plays today. Let's freak out!
  12. Rookie quarterbacks do not set worlds on fire. He was playing well today before his injury. Idiots expecting him to throw all over a Texans defense in Houston in his fifth start might as well have their piss-and-moan posts ready and click 'Post' as soon as the game ends.
  13. What a dumb post.
  14. It can't be both? I mean, it is football. Do you expect the QB to not get hit once in a while?
  15. And that's why this organization has zero chance of achieving success in the form of championships. The Pegulas gave McDermott 'Belichick Power' before he ever coached his first game. Inexplicable.
  16. Good luck ever finding a competent/qualified General Manager if that ever happens.
  17. This is why Marlowe was released. Bills had no concern whatsoever that a team would claim him. He’s just a guy.
  18. And as a result, Brees was finished in San Diego. Supports my point. Only way Allen can inexplicably regain a Franchise QB status in Buffalo upon getting benched in favor of Derek Anderson is if McDermott is fired after the season while Beane stays and distances himself from McDermott and the decision. That’s it.
  19. When did Eli lose his starting job for poor performance before his 30th birthday?
  20. Sounds like a guy who wants nothing to do with going back home and playing for the defending Super Bowl champions. #sarcasm
  21. I have nothing against Shady. However, I am a huge proponent of hoarding draft picks. The more you have, the better your odds of getting good/great players. Our offense is atrocious. By the time Allen’s development is at a level in which the Bills are legitimate contenders, Shady will no longer be here. If someone can offer a third or better for him, it’s an absolute no-brainer to bid him farewell. . It’s not even debateable.
  22. In the history of the NFL, can you name a single franchise quarterback that was benched for poor performance before his 30th birthday?
