  1. Then we’ll have to agree to disagree. Free agency destination is such a tiny aspect of it all. Every team has upsides and downsides. Let Cole Beasley tell you how the Bills facilities compare to the rest of the league. Or how fun it is to play in a stadium with a college atmosphere. In the end, more often than not free agents are going to either follow the money or go where they have the best chance to win a championship.
  2. The 1988 team started 11-1. After their first loss in Week 5, they beat their next six opponents by an average of 17 points. Not sure about strength of schedule but chances are it was not nearly as weak as this season.
  3. Here’s where I differ from most Bills fans: I refuse to lower my expectations for this franchise just because the performance of the team historically has been so absurdly poor. This isn’t college football where the gap between the haves and have-nots is enormous. It’s the NFL - all 32 teams have generally the same resources and opportunities to win the Super Bowl. Until this team looks and feels like a true, legit Super Bowl contender I’m going to find it very difficult to “enjoy it”. Because I’ve had the football yanked out from under my foot by this franchise before. I know what a pretender looks like. And if this team finishes 9-7 or 8-8 or worse, I’m not going to look back and think “Wow, remember that 6-2 start? That was so much fun!” ”The freaking Buffalo Bills are 6-2”. Good, now let’s make it 9-2. Then 12-4. Then to the AFC Championship. Then the Super Bowl. Then we all can truly enjoy it because it will be real.
  4. Word of advice: when you resort to personal attacks, you’re just showing that you’ve allowed your emotions to get the best of you. And that’s when I know the opponent has lost.
  5. If I’m a GM of a team in need of a QB and am picking between 10 and 20 I’m absolutely doing it.
  6. Bet Coughlin will get a first round pick for him.
  7. I think he’s playing to spend as much time as he can away from Giselle.
  8. Those are a much more accurate indicator of how good a quarterback is playing than adjusted net yards per pass attempt, passer rating, etc. /sarcasm I’m sorry I thought I was posting on a sports message board, not testifying under oath to Congress. My mistake.
  9. They see Allen’s passing is near the bottom of the league and they see the Bills offense near the bottom of the league. What else would they need to know? When Allen can step his game up, those rankings will move up the board and he will get more credit. Until then, the common consensus that Allen isn’t good enough will be what it is.
  10. Don’t be so sure. The vast majority of NFL fans outside of WNY thinks Allen isn’t capable of being a starting NFL QB.
  11. Screw that. That just pushes the Bills down the list of NFL teams by decreasing the size of the have-nots.
  12. Bills will have to run the table (10-2) for it to even be a possibility.
  13. If you don’t think it’s interesting that a second-year Allen is having the exact same season that second-year Trubisky had then it’s ok - move on with your life.
  14. If the staff continues to insist on handcuffing Allen rather than actually letting him properly develop, I'm fearful that he'll turn in a 2020 season like we're seeing Trubisky have right now.
  15. My original reply was in response to "Jackson is the next coming of Jesus Christ and Allen is a bust yet both are dual threat QBs, Allen being the better passer, Jackson the better runner." My point is that if Allen is better or even as good as Jackson, then he hasn't shown it yet.
  16. Not being negative at all. I've never said any any of those things. Negative is declaring that Allen sucks, he's never going to be good, Bills are going 6-10, etc. All I have done is explain how lacking the offense has been and if it doesn't get better then they will not be taking advantage of the historically easy 2019 schedule and everyone excited about the 6-2 will be crying in their pillows when we finish 8-8. My hope is that a light will turn on for Allen and the entire offense and the team finishes 12-4 and maybe even wins a playoff game.
  17. Cry me a freakin' river. Bills fans want the Bills to be GREAT. They want Allen to be GREAT. And ultimately, they want to see see their team win the Super Bowl. Until those things happen, Bills fans are going to tell it like it is. In the meantime, the creampuffs better find their safe spaces.
  18. Ah yes - "cherry-picked". ? Because there are so many passing categories that Allen just dominates over Jackson.
  19. I'm not implying anything about how Allen will end up.
  20. Lamar Jackson is kicking Josh Allen's ass so far this season. QBR Jackson - 70.9 (5th) Allen - 36.9 (28th) Adjusted Net Yards per Pass Attempt Jackson - 6.79 (13th) Allen - 5.38 (25th) Passer Rating Jackson - 95.4 (14th) Allen - 82.9 (28th) Rushing Yards per game Jackson - 79.6 (9th) Allen - 30.9 (50th) Rushing Yards per attempt Jackson - 6.4 (1st) Allen - 4.0 (35th)
