It also sounds like Kim is ready to bring Whaley to the point of elimination with another misstep or two.
Strike one: "I believe football is a sport humans are not supposed to play."
Strike two: "Why was Rex fired? I dunno. Haven't thought about it."
Strike three: ?

Roughly equal to the number of times Graham asked a douche question.
Graham didn't ask any douche questions.
For example, why can't Terry just explain the thought process behind letting Rex go? Why can't he just say something like "The defense got worse in his first season and never improved in 2016 and we just didn't see a light at the end of the tunnel. It was just a bad scheme fit for the defensive personnel and that's on us, we should have recognized that before hiring Rex. We've learned from that just like we're learning from all of our mistakes. Rex is a great coach but it just didn't work out here and we wish him all the best."
What's wrong with that?

Terry is starting to get prickly.
How many times did he say "I'm not going to discuss that" ?

Why would McDermott run the Tampa 2?
Isn't it possible that he simply trusts Frazier to teach the system?
No no don't you see, Frazier coached under Jim Johnson and Tony Dungy but obviously only runs the Tampa 2.
my mistake, assistant to HC and defensive backs coach of a super bowl winning team. Pass defense improves from 15 to 2 under Frazier.
Okay, you guys won me over.
I still say if they land a quality OC and retain Taylor I'm all aboard the McDermott train.
-
Imagine hiring a DC that won a super bowl as a DC, what are they thinking?
Frazier was defensive backs coach for the Colts in 2006. Not DC.
-
you don't seem to be liking the new regime much
Wish I could say I do but I'd be lying. I despise the Tampa 2. It's not what these Bills players do best.
I'm so sick and tired of losing and we're going to see more of it in 2017.

Haha Carucci didn't get the big interview even when they give the Buffalo News a bone. He must be heated.

I would love to fight Cowherd someday.

Very disappointed with this hire.

Funny Lynn was a huge HC candidate on TBD. In reality he is just filing in the Rooney rule.
That's a low, and insulting blow.
I understand you people try to block out this **** that goes on in the world but it only makes you ignorant when we have to talk aboht it.
Block out stuff like your racism? No, we're aware that it exists, unfortunately.
Love how almost everything turns to race. So running out of white guilt, enough already. Don't think this was the orginal topic.

John Wawrow Retweeted Lou Brown
McDermott is on more stable ground than Whaley and, to use a wrestling term, has leverage. It's on GM to play nice with new coach.
John Wawrow added,
Lou Brown @Lou_TireWorld@john_wawrow What if McDermott has final say over the 53? What could they hang on Whaley? He didn't have final say on the coach or players? -
McCoy appears to be out for Bills
That's been out there since last night. There are mixed reports. McCoy is interviewing with the Broncos today.

i'd say the odds of McDermott wanting Lynn are less than 50/50.
starting with, McDermott may not want to wait on Lynn while he interviews for HC jobs.
McDermott may want to bring in one of "his" guys that he knows and trusts better.
Then he's going to fail as a head coach.

That's a low, and insulting blow.
And not to mention 100% incorrect.

Terrible news for one of the greatest cities in the world.

Monos has shown an eye for talent throughout his career and it may be only a matter of time before he finds himself as a general manager elsewhere in the NFL.
Maybe he should be Buffalo's GM.
-
No way Lynn comes back as OC, unfortunately. He's after a HC job, and returning now to the Bills would feel like admitting failure. I think he did a very good job considering the injuries at WR, and I'd be happy if he did come back.
Lynn is under contract. So if he doesn't land a HC job and the Bills still want him he has no choice but to return.
-
I'm willing to get on board the McDermott train but if Taylor is not retained and a talented and/or experienced OC (either Lynn or Turner) is not hired then he's going to fail.
That's just reality.
-
"Tyrod Taylor is our quarterback and the entire offensive coaching staff will be retained including Anthony Lynn as offensive coordinator."
-
Yup.
The Bills, after finalizing Anthony Lynn as their head coach, will make a push for Gus Bradley as their defensive coordinator
La Canfora is truly the worst. I can't believe he has a job with a sports division of a real network. That's not a good look for them.
-
I'm praying this happens. Whaley is an embarrassment.
-
League will make it week 1 now.
No they won't.
-
Ah yes, stats in a vacuum.
Way to miss the point, dorkula.

Bill Musgrave would be a great hire.
