  1. If we're strictly using the last two seasons, Taylor has been better than Tannehill both years. At worst it's a draw.
  2. I think it's somewhat accurate. Despite this MVP-caliber season I agree that I don't think Matt Ryan is ready to be placed in the Elite category. Maybe a Super Bowl ring would change that. I don't agree with putting the Next Gen players into one group. Aside from Carr I think you're overrating all of them. I'd demote Eli and Flacco in the "game mangers" category and would consider moving Cousins in the "franchise" category. At worst, Cousins should be #1 game manager. Cutler should be demoted to "need replacing." Copying what you've done, here's the changes I'd make. Elite: 1. Aaron Rodgers 2. Tom Brady 3. Drew Brees 4. Ben Rothlisberger Definite Franchise Quarterbacks: 5. Matt Ryan 6. Russell Wilson 7. Andrew Luck 8. Philip Rivers 9. Matthew Stafford 10. Cam Newton 11. Derek Carr 12. Kirk Cousins The Game Managers OR Next Gen with more to prove (on the cusp): 13. Teddy Bridgewater 14. Marcus Mariota 15. Joe Flacco 16. Eli Manning 17. Jameis Winston 18. Dak Prescott 19. Alex Smith 20. Andy Dalton 21. Tyrod Taylor 22. Ryan Tannehill 23. Sam Bradford 24. Carson Palmer The Shaky: 25. Colin Kaepernick 26. Carson Wentz 27. Trevor Seimian 28. Blake Bortles 29. Jared Goff Upgrade Absolutely Required: 30. Jay Cutler/Brian Hoyer 31. Robert Griffin III 32. Brock Osweiler 33. Ryan Fitzpatrick
  3. Well done. What do we owe ya?
  4. Dennison shared play-calling duties with Kubiak last year and has called plays in his long career. It's not a big deal.
  5. Tyrod goes to bed tonight with a giant smile on his face.
  6. I would agree with this if we weren't talking about Rex.
  7. What I like about statistical analysis is that it compares all 32 teams without human bias. Which is generally more accurate than an assessment from a frustrated fan who watches three or four games a week and emotionally and irrationally blames the quarterback for all of his team's problems. Potentially bad news for the Tyrod haters: the new OC was Tyrod's QB coach in Baltimore.
  8. It didn't? Our offense under Roman's system finished Top 10 for the first time since 1999. And they did it two seasons in a row.
  9. I don't know much about Dennison but let's be real about these Broncos fans - they're spoiled as hell. None of them take poor offensive personnel into account. Many of them actually wanted Kubiak fired this year.
  10. Yes, it was that good. DVOA takes all factors into account including "garbage time." For all teams, not just the Bills btw.
  11. So that's what you got out of this thread? Yikes.
  12. Broncos - Manning Saints - Brees Chiefs - Smith Cardinals - Palmer Texans - Osweiler (lol)
  13. Which team with an elite quarterback dumped their starter before the draft, leaving themselves in a desperate situation? Patriots/Brady - Nope, they had Bledsoe Steelers/Roethlisberger - Nope, they kept Tommy Maddox Falcons/Ryan - Nope, they re-signed Joey Harrington before the draft Packers/Rodgers - Nope, they had Favre Thinking you have to dump your quarterback in order to draft one is mind-numbingly stupid. And what's worse - THEY HAVE ALREADY MADE THIS MISTAKE ONCE BEFORE. And they're about to do it again. It absolutely blows my mind.
  14. Are we supposed to completely ignore how well or badly they do as owners from now until eternity because they kept the team here? Honest question.
  15. I really wish they'd stop making it so difficult.
  16. No it doesn't. But apparently Whaley thinks it does. I was always hopeful that Whaley was smarter than he looked/sounded but now it's becoming apparent that his incompetence isn't just relegated to his public speaking skills.
  17. Record setting 3 and outs? There were seven teams worse this season alone. One of which was New England and two others were playoff teams. Holy nitpicking.
  18. The Pegulas and Whaley failed to learn from historical event #2. How about #1? They're not likely to retain Taylor especially after letting Lynn go. There's a big reason why this organization is owner of the longest playoff-less streak in any sport on the continent. It's got nothing to do with the Patriots or bad luck.
  19. Could you see them making a change after the draft this year? Maybe even just promoting Monos?
  20. I think Shady still has too much dead money to release. I would advise against keeping Manuel.
  21. John - Is Whaley still in trouble? Or does he appear to be safe now?
  22. I'd much rather be the Browns right now than the Bills. Once they realized Brees or Romo or Rivers was not a reality, that's when Whaley changed his tune and the full rebuild talk came out of his mouth.
