  1. I still wouldn't feel great about it and my concern would be that "Whaley went rogue" but I at least feel a little better with Dennison on staff regardless of which way it goes.
  2. Dak carried a lowly program on his shoulders in the SEC for four years. Evans played in an extremely QB-friendly system in 2016. I watched Evans in person at the Carrier Dome and the same Syracuse defense that allowed 76 points to Pittsburgh shut Evans and VT down holding them to under 20 points for the win. And take it easy with the pompous attitude.
  3. Remember how brilliant Belichick was in signing Chad Ochocinco?
  4. You just basically described this season's Dolphins game.
  5. If Taylor is let go then it's a no for me.
  6. lol not even in Dak's stratosphere.
  7. This would only apply to the 2016 Bills if the defense and special teams were above average. Which we know they were not.
  8. Dennison never played for the Raiders. The only team he played for was the Broncos (1982-1990).
  9. I found a picture of what Dennison used to look like...
  10. I'm shocked no one has made a "Dees Nuts for President" joke.
  11. Coughlin blocked it because he and Henderson once got into an argument during a preseason game/practice in 2005. Old man knows how to hold a grudge.
  12. Because he happened to be one of 53 players on two Super Bowl teams. Therefore, he's elite. Apparently.
  13. I've read nothing about that and find it extremely far-fetched.
  14. Sanjay Lal connections to current (new) staff: Worked on the same Raiders staff as RB coach Kelly Skipper from 2007 - 2011. Lal was wide receivers coach from 2009-2011 under HC's Tom Cable and Hue Jackson after landing his first NFL job as Lane Kiffin's offensive quality control coach his first two years with the Raiders. Also on that Raiders staff in 2007 and 2008 was Greg Knapp, who was Dennison's QB coach in Houston for two years and the last two years with the Broncos. If Knapp is hired as our QB coach then that's two coaches Lal has worked closely with before.
  15. Dorsey isn't leaving his current position as QB coach for Newton and the Panthers for the same position in Buffalo. Yes.
  16. lol Kyle Shanahan is a "genius" because he gets to work with Matt Ryan but Kubiak/Dennison are not because they had a half-armed Peyton, Brock Osweiler and someone named Trevor Siemian as their QB's for 2015 and 2016.
  17. The majority of Bills fans would have absolutely declared Brees a bust who's too short to be an NFL quarterback after his first two seasons.
  18. He lost me at "without professional assistance." It's over, Johnny.
  19. He's been apart of more good/great offensive teams than bad ones. The Shanahan/Kubiak/Dennison system works.
  20. Dorsey is already QB's coach for the Panthers. He's not going to leave for a lateral position.
  21. Quarterbacks - Wide Receivers - Secondary - I would love to snag Greg Knapp for Quarterbacks coach. He worked under Dennison with the Broncos as QB coach/passing game coordinator the last two years. First joined the same staff as Dennison/Kubiak in 2010 when he was hired as QB coach for the Texans. He's been offensive coordinator for many years in the NFL. If Knapp doesn't agree to follow Dennison here then you have Chris Weinke (Rams). Pretty slim pickings out there. For wide receivers, I would prefer they keep Sanjay Lal. Seems to have a good chemistry with the players and would keep Sammy happy and be added incentive for Woods to re-sign here if he's a priority. Other options: Tyke Tolbert (Broncos), Mike Groh (Rams), Bob Bicknell (49ers) For defensive backs, I wouldn't be surprised to see Curtis Fuller follow McDermott up here from Charlotte. He was the Assistant DB's/Nickels coach there last season. If he stays with the Panthers then Richard Rodgers could be the guy (Assistant DB's/Safeties). And Donnie Henderson is still out there - may just be coincidence but our DB's haven't been the same since he left.. Other options: Ron Milus (Chargers - worked with our new LB coach Babich), Brandon Fisher (Rams - worked with our new DL coach Waufle), Louie Cioffi (Browns), Tim McDonald (Bills), Jeff Haffley (49ers)
  22. I like Trubisky a lot but there is no guaranteed franchise QB in this draft. In fact, I think Trubisky is the only QB worth a first-round pick.
  23. You could be right. As long as we can get him for very cheap, I wouldn't totally hate it I guess. Would still much rather keep Taylor.
