  1. Who needs a quarterback when we have an overpaid corner who gets roasted by Chris Hogan?
  2. RIP Falcons. You had a good run.
  3. The Bills can't just "let him walk" aka release him. That would result in $4.85 million in dead cap. Which would be dumb. He's back unless he decides to retire.
  4. Gillislee is a Restricted Free Agent so he'll be back with no hand-wringing.
  5. If only the Ravens head coach were as impressed with Fluke-o as a few of you in this thread. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Ravens-Top-Offseason-Job-Help-Joe-Flacco-Play-At-Top-Tier-Level/940c87d1-9fb5-4275-a5e7-6918b6346401
  6. Flacco has certainly sucked in the last two seasons. That's not even arguable. And his poor play has hurt his team's chances at making the playoffs. His last good season was under Kubiak/Dennison in 2014. He's not elite. He was elite once - in the 2012 postseason. Does a four-game run make him forever elite in your eyes? He's capable of playing at that level but to be elite you need consistency and he's never been consistent. But my argument was never "he sucks and doesn't make the postseason a lot." My argument is it takes more than a quarterback to be good and there aren't many (if any) divisions with two elite quarterbacks. That's been my point since my first post in this thread.
  7. Thought the refs did an outstanding job last night. No controversy is always a positive.
  8. Brady is going to play for as long as he can perform at a high level and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
  9. I like that Brady has made himself more accessible the last couple years. Done more ads, appearances. Seems to get in refs' faces and scream at his teammates much less now. It's a smart move for him because he really is a good guy with a nice family but no one was really able to see that.
  10. It's sad that it has come to having to root for a devastating injury to occur but it is what it is.
  11. I don't disagree with anything you say but I think Goodell should have gone after Belichick more so than Brady. I think Goodell was upset that Brady destroyed his phone before handing it over to him and used that as his rationale for going after Brady alone. I'm sure he was also getting a ton of pressure from the other owners - specifically the Ravens and Steelers owners.
  12. That's why the national respect for those Bills teams grows with each passing year. No team since then has returned to the Super Bowl after losing it the previous year even once. Those sick bastards did it three times.
  13. It's the type of devastating loss that an NFL franchise will likely not bounce back from. At least in the immediate future. Falcons will likely have a losing record in 2017. I'm calling it right now.
  14. "He" made it. Nothing to do with the front office or coaches or 52 other players. It was just him.
  15. Actually I agree with you. Belichick is the greatest NFL HC ever. Which isn't exactly saying too much considering the majority of them are meatheads with brain damage.
  16. Because their quarterbacks and head coaches stunk. Like I said, it's a team sport. If he would stop sucking in the regular season he would have even more postseason opportunities to prove his "greatness".
  17. Maybe he should focus his greatness more on the regular season.
  18. Bill Belichick has been taking advantage of dumb teams and coaches for decades now.
  19. Ravens managed to get into the playoffs six times because they're a good team with a good head coach. Same with Bengals. It takes more than a good/great quarterback. Just ask the Saints and Chargers.
  20. Flacco is not elite. He should legally change his name to Joe Fluke-o because that's exactly what his Super Bowl season was. Neither is Dalton for that matter. Wilson is great but Palmer is meh. You just named a bunch of good teams with okay quarterback play.
  21. Congratulations to this forum for reaching 50 pages on a dime-a-dozen wide receiver. All contributors must be very proud.
  22. How many divisions have two (or more) elite quarterbacks?
  23. Bledsoe? He sucked. There have been much better quarterbacks than him in the division since 2001. Chad Pennington alone was much better. Takes more than a great quarterback. It takes a team.
