  1. Have you seen how active McDermott has been in free agency? We won't even have any comp picks in 2018. That's not indicative of a team that's planning on tanking.
  2. The tank/rebuild season has to occur when the previous coach is still around. If the Pegulas wanted a full rebuild, then they would've (should've?) kept Rex for another season. You don't want your first-year HC taking it on the chin in year #1. The fans would think he sucks and would immediately want him fired. The pressure generated from that impatience would seep into the organization and cause the front office to make decisions they wouldn't otherwise make. The franchise would basically be sabotaged. There's no reason this team shouldn't improve on last year's 7-9 record. And if they don't then that's strike one on McDerBeane.

  4. I've always been high on Monos and preferred he were the GM over Whaley. But I have faith that Beane and McDermott can put together a very good scouting staff. Maybe they'll even re-hire some of the same guys who were just let go. I'm not concerned about it.
  5. While I do think it's strange that they didn't trade Jimmy G a couple months ago, I think it's inevitable that they will throw him away like a soiled diaper because Brady will continue playing at a high level for at least the next three years.
  6. Unless McDermott sees him as a MLB. This guy is a mystery.
  7. Name me a team whose drafting is not "very shaky". If you answer with anything but "There are none," I'll explain to you why you're wrong.
  8. Dude, get a freakin' grip.
  9. Brilliant! Can't believe no one has ever thought of that before. You must be a doctor. This is one of the best solutions out there imo.
  10. Or they need to invest billions into medical advancements so that CTE can be measured pre-death and measure the CTE that already exist in men's brains before they take an NFL snap. That would also help determine those who are most at-risk and shouldn't continue playing. I can't believe a person still has to be dead in order to determine the amount of CTE they have.
  11. 1. Ron Darby 2. Tre White 3. Leonard Johnson 4. Shareece Wright 5. Kevon Seymour 6. Marcus Cromartie A weak unit. Thanks Whaley.
  12. I've been very critical of Vic in recent years but he's been killing it lately. Kudos to him.

  14. Tramaine Brock, 28 year old CB, formerly of the 49ers. Recently released for a domestic violence arrest. But, hey - innocent until proven guilty. And doesn't everyone deserve a second chance? Others... LB Gerald Hodges, 26, 49ers S Tre Boston, 24, Panthers S Marcus Gilchrist, 28, Jets LB Sio Moore, 27, Cardinals DT Dan Williams, 30, Raiders S Daimion Stafford, 26, Titans CB Jason McCourty, 29, Titans
  15. Under our last owner we would have just promoted one of the scouts whose name Ralph recognized.
  16. I see a few names missing that were reported as signing with the Bills earlier in the week... OT Voghens Larrieux, Coastal Carolina OG Jac'Que Polite, Winston-Salem State OG Gavin Edwards, Oregon State Maybe they're try-out guys? That's interesting. #950 ranked player on NFLDraftScout / CBS. Unrated on NFL Network. Hopefully what you saw is more indicative of his actual value.
  17. Teddy has been better but I'm looking forward to seeing how Taylor performs in the Shanahan offense this season. Also, who knows if Bridgewater will ever be the same.
  18. Yes it is. This piece should have its own thread, imo.
  19. Good. Money is not an obstacle for this owner. There will be some who turn the Bills/Sabres down, but it will never be because they weren't offered enough financial compensation. A far cry from the Ralph Wilson era.
