  1. This doesn't get enough credit for the absolute unintentional hilarity of it.
  2. It's ridiculous, but not surprising. Just have to call people out on it when you see it.
  3. Thank you for admitting you made it up.
  4. McDermott press conference at 4:15. I'm sure he'll have an update.
  5. No where in that piece is there anything remotely suggesting that Beane stated "I'm annoyed by my customers" or "I'm annoyed by my fans." So now you have two options: 1. Provide a link to a source that proves Beane stated "I'm annoyed by my customers/fans." OR 2. Admit you made it up
  6. Please provide a link where it was documented that he stated "I'm annoyed by my customers."
  7. Beane didn't give a "verbal smackdown" of fans. Put on your big boy pants and knock it off.
  8. From Carrucci's article... The remaining pass-catchers, most of whom are new to the team, don't provide that sort of splash the Los Angeles Rams acquired in last Friday's trade with the Bills. They're steady, workmanlike individuals who won't, as Watkins did early in the 2015 season, ever go to the media to demand more touches. And no one personifies that approach more than the oldest and most decorated of the newcomers, 15-year veteran Anquan Boldin. "There's definitely not that diva mentality in our receiver room," Boldin said after Tuesday's practice, the last of the summer at the Bills' St. John Fisher College training camp. "We have guys that are willing to do whatever it is that the coaches ask, whether that be blocking, running a clear-out route or going across the middle, taking a big hit and making a catch. "We have guys that are willing to do whatever it takes. That's the kind of guys that you want to work with, work along side of, because with the game on the line, you can count on them."
  9. Fair enough. I still think you're grossly exaggerating the mental effect it will have on the players.
  10. Are you saying Boldin didn't say that the Bills don't have a diva mentality in the WR's room the day after Sammy was traded?
  11. No wonder Bolden insinuated that he's a diva.
  12. You're acting like the Bills traded away Aaron Rodgers. Sammy was nothing more to this franchise than a very talented wide receiver who may have turned some players off in light of Anquan Bolden's recent 'diva' comments. "Emotionally gut punch." Good Lord, get a grip.
  13. Were all of you whiners in this thread Doug Whaley fans?
  14. There should be a Safe Space forum here for those of you who take this stuff way too seriously.
  15. Nope. Good deal. The fact that the Rams already have engineers developing a special shoe for Sammy speaks volumes.
  16. I'm sure Beane is very concerned about how much Kelly the Dog believes him. My guess is McDermott knew very well that Sammy was on the trade block. Hell, maybe it was even his idea. And that the deal with the Rams was solidified either during or right before the game when McDermott was otherwise occupied.
  17. "Shopping" is a relative term. He wasn't desperate to get Sammy out of Buffalo. But make no mistake - Beane had been trying to get a first-rounder for Sammy since he was hired. The best they were offered was a 2nd rounder so Beane finally pulled the trigger with the Rams considering they were probably the worst team willing to give them a 2nd rounder for a guy who is going into his final year of his rookie contract.
  18. How is that typical Buffalo? For the last 17 years they've told themselves "We're so close!" and would trade their future for the present. Resulting in spinning their wheels and winning 7 or 8 games on an annual basis.
  19. Why should we care what Pats fans think? Because the team they happen to root for is really good, that means they know better?
  20. Wrong, Sully. "Typical fashion" would be to trade away draft picks because they think the roster is loaded and they're "close." This front office is loading up on picks. Amazing that such an experienced writer can't grasp this simple fact.
  21. You're replacing the greatest quarterback of all-time with an okay quarterback. Doubt any demise will happen as long as Belichick is still alive but you won't be clinching the AFC East before the season begins on an annual basis anymore.
  22. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that Watkins told Beane and McDermott that there was no way on God's green Earth that he will be re-signing with the Bills after the season.
  23. Shady's personality would have fit in perfectly on the Super Bowl Bills teams.
