  1. Everything stated here is very accurate. But I don't expect to pick #2 in next year's draft unless there are a number of injuries to our key players.
  2. They won 7 games last year despite a poor head coach and defensive coaching staff because they faced one of the easiest schedules in the NFL and the offensive system fit the personnel (quarterback) extremely well. Plus the OLine and Shady stayed relatively healthy for most of the (if not the entire) season. Going into this season they were forced to say goodbye to a top corner (Gilmore) and their second-best wide receiver (Woods) because of the poor salary cap management.
  3. Even if you refuse to cast any blame on Whaley for the quarterback and head coach issues, his draft record is horrendous and he put this franchise in a horrible cap situation for the new front office - causing them to inherit a 5-6 win team on paper (at best). Whaley did a very poor job overall.
  4. You're whining about the release of two players who all 31 other teams took a look at and said, "Nah, we're good".
  5. JONATHAN. WILLIAMS. IS. NOT. NEARLY. AS. GOOD. OR. VALUABLE. AS. YOU. THINK. HE. IS.
  6. *Note to self: whatever 'Straight Hucklebuck' thinks...think the opposite*
  7. So many tantrums for a guy who wasn't even claimed off waivers!
  8. Marrone sucks. Does McDermott suck? That's yet to be determined.
  9. Bobby has a crystal ball. Didn't you know that?
  10. How do you know the second tight end they claimed didn't have a condition?
  11. Or they...you know, simply wanted to add a fourth tight end. Not everything is so dramatic and/or "ominous".
  12. You mean the Panthers 53-man roster? Clay did make it.
  13. No he didn't. Freddy was great from the very beginning. He just needed coaches to remove their heads from their butts and recognize the fact.
  14. Running backs don't develop. They depreciate.
  15. Yeah it's much better to have a guy taking a spot on the roster who does nothing as Shady, Banyard and Tolbert get all the carries.
  16. Your exact quote: "He's shown no ability." It's obvious he has the potential. All a man needs is an opportunity.
  17. Why? Backup running backs are a dime a dozen.
  18. Oh, no? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fLI1tn_VNo
  19. Manziel Part II ^^ Doesn't know what a check down is ^^
  20. I don't agree with this. Kaelin Clay was brought here to play WR. That's why Philly Brown was released. Taiwan Jones showed that he can be used as a running back in certain packages after averaging 6.64 yards per carry in the offseason - the Jonathan Williams release is further proof. After Deon Lacey was claimed, Gerald Hodges was released which likely shows they believe Lacey can fill in as Preston Brown's backup at MLB. When healthy, Colt Anderson is the backup free safety.
  21. Unintelligent and/or ignorant people tend to confuse their assumptions for truth. The fans having tantrums now assumed that Jonathan Williams was the first backup running back on the roster when preseason ended. When that was proven to not be the case, instead of adjusting their perceptions ("wow, it turns out Banyard and Tolbert were ahead of Williams - that's unexpected"), they lash out and cast blame ("Beane and the front office don't know what they're doing!").
