The Marrone praise in this thread is puzzling. Marrone was lucky that Pettine and then Schwartz were available to be the DC when he was hired here. Those two defensive coordinators were the ones responsible for the Bills being competitive while Marrone was here. Marrone is an "offensive" coach and the offense was a shite-show in both years. He was a supposed offensive line guru, yet the OLine never performed worse than when he was here. He's a horrible game manager who punts/kicks in every opportunity, disregarding percentages. The Bills went *9-7 in 2014 (supposedly a monumental accomplishment in the eyes of Bills fans) in spite of Marrone, not because of him.

Winning that division does not a good team make. He'd be okay if he wasn't such a headcase.

No, he's not. And no he won't. Today was a fluke against a bad team. Jaguars will come back down to Earth as soon as next week (although Titans aren't much better).

Doubtful. I just think he's tired of being short-changed. He's been underpaid his entire career because of his loyalty. That hasn't gotten him much. Meanwhile, the dope next to him who still acts like he's 15 years old and isn't nearly as good a player gets paid like an elite quarterback.
