  1. All you had to say was "slow first step / poor reflexes." And having the ability to determine that from a player after one NFL game is quite impressive. Hopefully you get paid well for this talent. Having a pleasant or non-combative conversation with you is like pulling teeth.
  2. Based on what?
  3. Thank you for actually adding something of substance this time. Obviously Houston is a future Hall of Famer. All I was saying is that from a size, speed, combine drills and measurements standpoint Shaq compared favorably to Houston. And there is a direct, measured relationship between combine drills and on-field performance.
  4. Ugh. Do you need to see the combine numbers?
  5. Shaq is basically a Justin Houston clone from an athleticism/measurables standpoint. And he had more sacks in college than Houston did.
  6. Trading Shorts for Dupree is a pretty good swap.
  7. Why? Not disagreeing, just curious why you feel that way.
  8. Mike Mularchy is also employed. That doesn't mean much. There are some very dumb owners and front office executives out there.
  9. Doug Marrone's record as Buffalo HC: 15-17 (.469 winning percentage) Rex Ryan's record as Buffalo HC: 15-16 (.484 winning percentage)
  10. #1 highest run stop percentage among edge defenders in Week 1 How long into the season before people stop sleeping on this guy?
  11. Agreed. I'm shocked that guy isn't on an NFL 53-man roster right now.
  12. I'm praying McBeane is smart enough to know that trading up in the draft is foolish.
  13. AFC South winner could be 6-10.
  14. After watching some of the other quarterbacks in this league yesterday, I stand confidently by my statement.
  15. McCown is a good quarterback. Been around forever. He just can never stay healthy. Seeing him in Week 1 is the worst possible time. He'll be on IR by Week 4.
  16. Yeah...I'm going to have to disagree with this part. 5th in the league in yards per play this week despite playing overly-conservative and with predictable hand-offs for most of the 4th quarter. McCoy is a great running back, but let's not overstate how valuable one running back is no matter how great. Without those massive holes, he doesn't have space to run for all of those yards.
  17. The Texans have had a Top 10 defense in five of the last six seasons. But it's nearly impossible to maintain that level of success on that side of the ball because it's dependent on so many pieces. It's not at all surprising that they could take a step back in 2017 even with a healthy Watt all season.
  18. That's because that's exactly what Dareus is now. He's not good enough to play as many snaps as KWilliams and Hughes.
  19. I think the Texans and 49ers also have an argument this week.
  20. Their job is to win games, not keeping the overpaid child engaged.
  21. You obviously didn't watch other games yesterday.
  22. Jags had the 12th best defense a year ago. They added beast Calais Campbell (who had four sacks yesterday), along with CB AJ Bouye. CB Jalin Ramsey is a stud, as is Myles Jack. Poz is still there doing his thing. They have excellent personnel on that defense.
  23. Should I get the yards per attempt average for Spiller and Freddy under Marrone compared to the rest of their careers? Let me know, I don't want you to feel too badly about looking like a fool so I'll leave it up to you.
