  1. The defense isn't playing in a vacuum. They see the inept offense and the quarterback who checks down on 3rd and 15 to the 300 pound running back surrounded by defenders 10 yards shy of the first down marker.
  2. The players quit on Tyrod.
  3. Too late for what? You really consider this a playoff team?
  4. Peterman's first start will be vs. the Colts in Week 14 when the Bills are 5-7.
  5. Don't be so dramatic.
  6. Woods was a good fit, he just wanted out. Nothing McDermott could do about that. Dareus has been a bum since 2014 and Sammy is proving out in LA right now that he's just a guy. I don't get this critique. It's lazy and just stupid. McDermott isn't any more "my way or the highway" than any head coach in the NFL. It has absolutely nothing to do with today's blowout.
  7. Stop. No one is rooting for losses with TT playing. This is a childish response.
  8. Quite possibly the worst performance from a Bills starting Quarterback of all-time. Taylor is a dead-man walking, sadly.
  9. As long as the demand is there, football will be fine. That doesn't mean it shouldn't do more to improve itself and make the sport safer. But the doom we hear about football is vastly overstated.
  10. Ravens and Titans are the likely Wild Cards this season. I could also see the Raiders going on a hot streak. Bills will have to go 10-6 and I'm afraid they're just not capable of that yet. It's really not out of the realm of possibility this season. Let's hope that's the case.
  11. What's interesting is that supposedly if the Bills had stayed put at #10 they would have taken Lattimore. So the Bills essentially traded Lattimore for Tre White and the Chiefs' 2018 first-round pick.
  12. Even in a conversation where they're supposedly praising Taylor, the guys says this: "So you do have to acknowledge those limitations. Even with the strong grading, he's not a guy who you're necessarily going to put the ball in his hands to win you the game." Exactly. He's a solid stop-gap until you can find a franchise quarterback. This is exactly why the PFF grades are so dumb.
  13. You guys are prepared with all kinds of excuses for poor Tyrod. He spent seven seconds dancing around behind the line of scrimmage. Had a wide open Tolbert for an easy completion if he had better awareness.
  14. Latest DYAR QB rankings from Football Outsiders... 1. Tom Brady 2. Alex Smith 3. Drew Brees 4. Carson Wentz 5. Jared Goff 6. Dak Prescott 7. Ben Roethlisberger 8. Derek Carr 9. Case Keenum 10. Matt Ryan 11. Deshaun Watson 12. Matt Stafford 13. Kirk Cousins 14. Philip Rivers 15. Russ Wilson 16. Jameis Winston 17. Aaron Rodgers 18. Blake Bortles 19. Marcus Mariota 20. Tyrod Taylor 21. Carson Palmer 22. Eli Manning 23. Jay Cutler 24. Jacoby Brissett 25. Andy Dalton 26. Cam Newton 27. Brian Hoyer 28. Josh McCown 29. Trevor Siemian 30. CJ Beathard 31. Mike Glennon 32. Joe Flacco 33. Deshone Kizer
  15. I'd rather he throw completions or incompletions. Actually an interception would've been better than the sack-fumble.
  16. I would've thought Benjamin was too young to remember Thurman's playing days. He was 2 years old when the fourth Super Bowl was played. However, he was 9 when Thurman played for the nearby Miami Dolphins so maybe he remembers that season.
  17. No one is excusing the line play. They took a dump against the Jets. But a good QB knows that he can't take seven sacks. Especially in an offense that is far from productive. Those sacks are killers. Get the ball out.
  18. Pressure is on the line. Sacks are more often than not on the quarterback.
  19. If you have an immediate family member or spouse that plays for a that is not the team you've been a fan of, then you're allowed to have two teams for the entirety of the player's time with the team(s). It's more acceptable to root for the family member's team first, the other team second. Extended family member is not acceptable except under special circumstances (he was raised in the same household, was like a brother to you, etc.) It's in the Fandom rulebook.
  20. Stop getting sacked. Seven sacks in one game is absolutely inexcusable.
  21. I'm losing interest (slowly) due to the lack of parity from the over-reliance on quarterback play which is made worse by the fact that quarterbacks are over-protected and can play well into their 40's. Many fans of certain teams feel they have no hope so what's the point?
  22. Wow - there are people who still use total yardage to evaluate NFL units. Amazing.
  23. They're currently the #31 ranked team in the NFL per Football Outsider's DVOA (#23 defense). The Colts won so maybe this week they will be #32. #20 ranked defense in ProFootballReference's EXP (expected points contributed to defense). #13 in score percentage. #23 in yards per play. #26 in turnover percentage. On what planet are the Dolphins' defense Top 10 through Week 9 of the 2017 NFL season?
  24. The LOLphins are more likely to finish 4-12 than go to the playoffs. They're considered to be one of the worst teams in history to start the season 4-2. They truly suck.
  25. Sure, but then you also have to include tight ends, running backs, OLine, etc. I didn't tell him to alter it. I'm not allowed to disagree with his formula? He even said in his post "Let's discuss!" Apparently what he meant to say was "This is the end-all be-all of judgments so no disagreements are necessary." Or "let's discuss how right I am."
