How many offenses are stacked with elite talent?
Taylor had Shady McCoy, Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods, Chris Hogan, Charles Clay and one of the best OLines in the NFL from 2015-2016.
That's better than most QB's have in their entire careers.
When the defense is dominant like today, Taylor gives you a better chance. But if the defense is poor and you're playing from behind, Taylor offers nothing. Peterman is a gunslinger and when you're down you need a QB who takes chances. It is what it is.
Peterman was chucking the ball all over the place last week. Pretty obvious McD told him why he was yanking Taylor - he wants the QB to take chances, not sacks.
Maybe they gave him the benefit of the doubt and determined that he could possibly run a real NFL offense and not a run-oriented college offense built around the read-option?
So you'd rather argue semantics than actually discuss the topic on hand?
You know lack of aggressiveness is a huge flaw of Taylor's and exactly why he was benched. To argue otherwise is delusional.
That's the problem with Tyrod. Many quarterbacks have an awareness/knowledge as to when they should play it safe and when they need to take chances. Tyrod is ALWAYS in safe mode no matter the score.
