  1. Already making excuses for Tyrod days before the game even begins. Nice.
  2. Is that why Eric Wood's contract was extended?
  3. He still has a golden opportunity in front of him to win over all fans. It's not often that a person gets so many chances.
  4. Begging for Pro Bowl votes is going to impress NFL GM's?
  5. Begging for Pro Bowl votes during Pats week is indicative of having confidence?
  6. Taylor is finished in Buffalo as soon as the 2018 ball drops in Times Square. It's simply a fact. Just accept it and move on.
  7. Yeah I'm still laughing at your "Peterman couldn't beat out Savage at Pitt" take.
  8. Taylor's time in Buffalo has expired. He's been given more than enough opportunities and it just hasn't worked out. 2018 - New OC with three quarterbacks to work with in camp: a free agent, first-round draft pick and Peterman.
  9. When (not if) it happens, should we all give him a standing ovation? Should they stop the game, bring out his parents to hand him flowers and award him a new car?
  10. Actually, I don't think Peterman's college resume is 'meh' at all. As a senior finished seventh in the nation in passer rating. 11th in total QBR. The Pitt offense finished 10th in the country in points per game. He leaves, and they finish 100th. Not a coincidence.
  11. Unfortunately those coaches aren't exactly a dime a dozen.
  12. I'm sure that made all the difference.
  13. Laugh all you want. Taylor cannot bring a team back from behind by multiple touchdowns. He's simply not capable due to his non-aggressive nature and unwillingness to take chances. Peterman is a gun-slinger who is willing to take chances (granted, to a fault in his first career start) and capable of anticipating and throwing receivers open. Low risk, low reward vs. high risk, high reward. Get it?
  14. Ease up on the emotional replies. If the defense plays lights out like Sunday going forward then Taylor gives the team the best chance of winning. But if the D plays poorly, the team is better off with Peterman because Taylor doesn't offer anything.
  15. With the way the defense performed that day and as hot as the Chargers were/are, no they wouldn't have won that day. Knowing that is just common sense.
  16. (A) makes no sense so it's obviously (B). But maybe Peterman's first outing was an anomaly and he isn't nearly as "far away from being ready" as it looked.
  17. Taylor likely starts until the 7th loss. But I still wouldn't bet against seeing Peterman start against the Colts if Taylor has a Saints-like game on Sunday.
  18. I think the system is fine. Not great, but it can work. What's not fine is Dennison's play-calling. No imagination. Extremely predictable. It's obvious why Kubiak never let him call plays for an entire season.
  19. I'm sure Boys' source is correct in that Dennison wanted Peterman. But McDermott would have to be convinced since he's the HC and it's ultimately his butt on the line in that he's the one who has to answer for such decisions in front of the media and the Pegulas. Even if Dennison has 100% say over personnel decisions on the offensive side of the ball (doubtful), that's only because McDermott has given him that authority. I'm hoping McDermott can see that Dennison needs to be let go after the season is complete.
  20. I do. But more importantly, McDermott and Beane do.
  21. They both go because neither are good enough.
  22. I was willing to give Dennison a chance but it's obvious that the guy is a meathead. I can't imagine him returning in 2018. McDermott's faith in Taylor died vs. the Saints. My prediction: We will have a new OC and a new starting QB in 2018.
