  1. No question the Rams on the road are a different team, particularly if weather is a factor. And yes, the Rams didn't look so good against the Dolphins--who scored 31 points in the upset--but Bills offense has been consistently inconsistent, averaging just 15 points per game. Admittedly, I'm picking games at less than 50% against the spread, so the fact I'm leaning towards the Rams probably signals a Bills win.
  2. The game for bettors is essentially a pick'em, so the question is really whether the Bills will win. Game is at home, but we can't score and Rams have no problem scoring, so conventional logic says we get blown out. Thoughts?
  3. I'm sure JP appreciates the medical advice.
  4. TD only league, who do you take....McGahee in NE or Dunn at home vs. Tampa. THoughts?
  5. I was at the Mirage a few weeks ago on a Sunday, and while it was fun, the place seemed a bit worn. I prefer Caesars or the Venetian, and though you can't go wrong anywhere, I'd stay far, far away from the Hard Rock....the sportsbook may be the smallest I've seen in Vegas (20 chairs??), it's inconveniently located off the strip (i.e. cab ride) and the tables always seem to be packed.
  6. Seemed like DB only called a timeout when we were driving with the football. Why, for example, with 40 seconds left in the first half, ball on the Jet 4 yard line, do we use our final timeout??? Well, I figure this means 3 passing attempts, but we call a running play that gets stuffed. Pile is slow to get up and DB waits 20 seconds to spike the ball, conceeding a FG. WTF??? We're 2-5 playing for a win....even Mularkey couldn't explain that as he went in.
  7. I think the stock is more speculation than prudent investing.....the company lost over $280 million in the first half of 2004.
  8. I don't think there is any question that we need an OL much more than a DT, but Jennings ain't the answer. He's constantly hurt, and I don't think he's been that special when he's playing. Plus, he got a contract extension offer earlier this year and turned it down, so my guess is he's looking for big money.
  9. Well, the line has jumped from 3.5 to 4.5, so the "money" is on the Bills today.
  10. The truth is Henry had 1356 yards rushing in 2003 (11th in the league), which was only 20 yards less than Ricky Williams and about 80 yards less than Priest Holmes, but I suppose those guys aren't very good either. In 2002, Henry had 1438 yards rushing (5th overall), which was more than everyone in the NFL with the exception of 4 players: Williams, Tomlinson, Holmes and Portis. Oh, he was a Pro-Bowl selection also. And if you're posting this thread based on this year's performance, then you ought to make similar posts on every Bills player with the exception of perhaps Moorman. Those are the facts. Deal with them.
  11. I would start Porter. He had a big game last week and this is only McCardell's second game as a Charger.
  12. Agreed, we have more talent than almost all of the choices yet we suck.
  13. TD and Co. should all be fired. Let's rebuild with another GM.
