Here are my small school prospect ratings
Damond Talbot replied to Damond Talbot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well first off, our site is a premier scouting site, we work directly with NFL teams and scouts. We sell our database to NFL scouts as well as all other professional scouts. We have a big board just like other sites, we have 8 to 10 scouts that travel the world and watch film on every team not just one. We have scouts that go to the extreme, I have been to 26 states this year scouting D2, D3 and FCS schools. So our small school rankings are pretty good, you won't find a site that has a top 100 small school guys. Everyone focuses on D-1. While we watch all the D-1 as well, we are becoming the smaller school premier site. We will be running a combine this year with BSN or Beyond Sports Network for small school guys as well. I hope you guys will keep following us as well. PS I am not sure if Riley is staying in school but that list was made up probably before he said he was staying. -

If you check out our site, we have a list of top 150 D-1 guys, I will get a link for you Here is a link for you http://www.optimumscouting.com/draft/static/top-100-prospects.html -
Optimum Scouting came out with a small school list of guys and their rankings of them. You guys should check them out, great stuff, they have done a great job, I really like small school kids, and have been gotten to actually get to know a couple of these guys. I know that the Buffalo Bills have spoken with a few of these guys and I know they are happy with a few. I know that there are teams that are really high on guys as well. Every year 25-30 small school guys get drafted, in the last 2 years the Bills drafted 4 small school guys, in Michael Jasper, Justin Rogers, Arthur Moats, and Danny Batten. We all know Buddy trusts his scouts and if they are looking at some of these guys we can expect two of these guys on this list to get drafted by Buffalo Here is a list, who would like to see the Bills get? http://www.optimumscouting.com/draft/static/sleepers.html

So far he has been invited to the HBCU Bowl and he has been working out in Dallas with Rocket Ismael on his speed. He ran a 4.73 forty last week, and is hoping to run a 4.6 -

I know there are questions about his forty time, but read this NFL Optimum 40 Yard Dash Time 4.60 NFL Minimum 40 Yard Dash Time 5.00 (A lot depends on whether the DE is in a 3-4, or a 4-3 defense. In the 3-4 defense, DE's tend to be a lot bigger and stronger, and are usually a lot slower because they play the Offensive Tackles straight up. In a 4-3 Defensive Scheme, the DE's are usually lighter, faster, and smaller, but are lined up at an angle to the Offensive Tackle.) I am not here trying to boost him up but I will say that we work with small school guys, I have wrote several articles on smaller school guys such as Ryan Steed, CB of Furman who I talked to today and he told me that he was invited to the Senior Bowl. That is a pretty big invite for a small school kid. So just because they don't come from the SEC doesn't mean that they are not good Half the guys on our team came from smaller schools Damond -

His stock is on the rise, he has been getting looked at a ton Here is my article on him if you want to read more http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.optimumscouting.com%2Fdraft%2Farticles%2Fdiamond-in-the-rough-adrian-hamilton-de-prairie-view-aam.html&h=VAQFLFylUAQGHd5EtT-2p3mse69hNTBaRvASR869IMe-W-A -

Watch what he runs the forty at the HBCU Combine, I bet you in the 4.7's he ran a 4.73 in Dallas last week. San Jose he could fall from the 5th to 7th I see him going up if he can get into East/West or Senior Bowl or Combine -

well if he gets a chance to play at the Senior Bowl we will see if he is for real or not -
Bills need to be looking at Adrian Hamilton of PVAMU, he is a stud, he had 19.5 sacks all year and I just confirmed with NCAA that he has broke Robert Mathis record after a dispute was made by PVAMU Sports Information Director and stat man. It has been accepted and it is Official, he is the new SWAC and HBCU record holder. If a person can get in the backfield and sack a QB 20.5 times in 11 games, you have to at least look at him, right?

I have absolutely no affiliation with the game, but I do work for a scouting company named Optimum Scouting, I am just giving you guys some input about this game, because I found out today that the bills scouts will be there. I talk with the Bills scouts in regards to where they will be at and what games they will be in. I am just letting you guys know. No affiliation to the game though, but it produced a few guys pro last year. Damond -

I would like to see a few of them as UDFA's Like Charles Deas, NT he is 6'6 and 350 and he is way more athletic than Mike Jasper. WAY MORE, just google his name, you will see his crazy journey but if you read about him it is good, he was the 6th best coming out and he signed his letter to LSU. Ryan Davis who might get taken in the draft but the kid is athletic, he would be a gamer on special teams -
He is a very good nickel corner, I don't think he would be good as a Number 1 or facing against a number 1, he is not phsyical enough. He is great covering the slot and roaming. He is also very good off the edge on rushing situations. I would like to see him get more playing time, he has been playing well
-
If he falls out of the top 10 I would be surprised, I don't believe this will happen, he is too good of a WR to drop like that. I think Jeffries of South Carolina will drop though. He just didn't try as hard as he should this year, he looked like he was just joking around out there.

Monday begins the HBCU Bowl (Historical Black Colleges and Universities). The Buffalo Bills are expected to be there watching practices and watching several players. These are small school guys that the Bills like, there are a list of some good guys on here that really could be impressive in the NFL The rosters are out on http://www.hbcubowl.com This game is played in Atlanta, GA Here is our sites list of players to watch, check it out http://www.optimumscouting.com/draft/articles/our-hbcu-bowl-week-preview.html

That would be an amazing thing, but that would fall under a conflict of interest I think if you own a firm of players then become an owner.
