  1. Certainly feel more comfortable with VY than Thigputz as our hopefu l#2. He can make things happen.
  2. Or at least make it look like you're trying. The culture of fail, and stench of over a decade of losing. Has yet to be declared deceased, based on any onfield play. Of course a couple rookies are showing their worth. Hyperbole aside the team has yet to show anything. Gailey will win the opener, he's good at gameplans if he has weeks vs. days. Actually looking forward to Saturday's game to see if this team has any game.
  3. I like it. I also hope Hairston locks down the other tackle spot.
  4. Is James Welker you speak of really James Walker ESPN hack, and tebow jock washer?
  5. I always feel bad too when a team pays out 10 million for a lot of suck in return. Whose fault Nix or lights out? You be the judge.
  6. I wish Gailey was the OC only. Here's to hoping he is able to adjust his play calling this year, instead of calling the same plays when opposing defenses are dialed into his schemes. The second half slide last year was rough. And No, the injury bug only holds so much weight. Every team goes through it. The offensive depth is almost identical this year except for 2 rooks. Even scarier with gailey if he comes out on 9/9/12 with the same exact offensive game planning he used last year Except for Graham it's the same cast of very medicore receivers past SJ13. Maybe there was a good reason he was out of the NFL until Ralph dialed him up? My confidence in him is waning after his complete mismangament of running backs going all the way back to his first season here. BTW is our second string TE even worth wasting a roster spot on?
  7. There is some truth here^^^
  8. He went out for a fish fry and was confused?
  9. Yea, based on "all reports" he was awesome and back to form too. Maybe there is BS coming from 1Bills dr.
  10. So the final tally is over/under one million per sack? Maybe some reality hits this board on the move to cut his useless body.
  11. Because 10-6 doesn't do it. Still will be a good season, their not ready to challenge yet anyways.
  12. When he goes my memory of him in the red, white, and blue will be getting beaned on the sideine when warming up. LOL
  13. Understood. Yes, actually every play is a scrimmage. For some tool (not you) to say I was schooled, is someone who likes to make a play with semantics. I will simplify my position for a word that has multiple definitions and interpatations.Example, I could place a bet on last nites GAME. I cannot place a bet on a league scrimmage. I see the standings listed as won/loss games. Call it what you want I guess. Today the word scrimmage maybe a good word to use since we lost 2 meaningless pre season games a row, and not a lot of thought was there in game planning, and apparently execution . SOP for the 4 pre seaon games that are scheduled.. So lets just call them scrimmages. I understand how some may feel better. Whatever works. This board is already feeling like a mid season 2 game losing streak here, and I admit I got sucked in. Scrimmages are good either intra squad or 2 teams because no one loses, no pithy threads, etc. No one baiting with semantics, Coaches can get their loook see, and no one has to pop big bucks to sit in the Jim Kelly club (unlike for a pre season game) if that's their thing. Scrimmages used to be at camp. But,I heard the Bills and Browns might scrimmage next year in addition to playing a game and lining up at the line of scrimmage.
  14. You's a funny guy. Uh, you really should stick with NFL definitions when on a NFL board. Buh, bye.
  15. A scrimmage is similar top a regular game except no score is kept. One team will get the ball and run a pre determined amount of plays, in the red zone, goal line, etc. Then the opposing team will do the same. The ball is never advanced downfield, it is brought back after the play, and another play is called at the same spot on the field. There are NO downs, no penalties, no scores. In years past the Buffalo Bills would scrimmage with the Browns, Steelers, etc.In addition to what we call Pre-season games (that is what we have played the past 2 weeks). Obviously I have only brushed on what a NFL scrimmage is, and what the rules are. I hope this helps Old Timer.
  16. You don't know what a NFL "scrimmage" is then.
  17. The system in gailey's spread seems to be a lot of 5-10 slants or hanging a TE/receiver out to dry. If Fitz a former backup can hit or miss on that "system" why do you believe VY can't learn the ropes?
  18. Can't argue this point. Truth is though the fish will suck this year, and battle the Jets for 3 and 4 in the division.
  19. Sorry, first drive BIG runs up the middle don't strike me as exotic. More like the suck arse inability too stop the run with 1st stringers, that reminded me of how many years now?
  20. Maybe it's his time? Except for the relays I somehow found myself rooting against him. Maybe it's his grill?
