  1. That's great stuff. Our Lab could make the list with " Ask me how I ate the Easter ham 30 minutes before dinner, had the ***** for a week, and all my Dad did was laugh".
  2. They couldn't get a bag of used footballs for him. Last year of his rookie contract and he stays. Cheap insurance (for what I don't really know) but he will try to produce whatever they ask of him if he's got any game in him at all anymore. Maybe special teams ace. BTW thanks again for the pick Dick.
  3. Hmmmmmmm, safe to say then you're not buying the Fitz "rib injury" for the last 9 or so games last year? Because some people believe Fitz didn't get it done and "complete a full season" last year.
  4. Hey, what about my team too? regards, Jerry Jones
  5. Link? or do you just buy into the homer rumor mill?
  6. Some would argue nix doesn't know "far more" about Troup's ability. In fact it may be actually the opposite.
  7. Odd, how success works for marketing . we were recently in Clearwater FL. and got a huge laugh seeing a T-shirt store basically devoted to a team called the Pittsburgh Steelers. I have never been to Pittsburgh FL though.
  8. I agree and see what you're saying here. Kind of reminds me of lovefests for a fat scrub named Jasper. Yea, it makes total sense.
  9. Sparky said it's safe, as long as we all wear rubber flip flops.
  10. Sure, it's a Bills tradition now. Just ask easley.
  11. The Polish cannon in Oakland was and still is a freak of nature. Forget the no return kicks, that dude can still hit 70 yard field goals in warm ups. Judging by some comments here Potter "could learn how to kick field goals with lindell". Is that for real? 85% of non returnable kicks doesn't seem like a situation to burn a roster spot on. This team is still not overly stocked on overall talent IMO. If the guy could hit field goals 45- 50+yards on a consitent basis then cut Lindell. It seems like he needs to develop field goal kicking though. Can he be buried on the practice squad for awhile? What next a punter who can only hit coffin corners on 60 yard punts? So then a team carries two punters? let's find Steve tasker 2.0 and put some fear in the kick returners, instead of carrying a guy for the sole purpose of hitting non returnable kicks 85% of the time.
  12. Honestly, I don't know. I can take your word for it. I just don't like the lack of attention paid to the position. Chandler was ok in the red zone last year, and pulled a big one in the first pre-season but past that I don't know. I'm hoping Metz can coach these guys up though. Doesn't the hoody still have like 6 TE's on his team? Maybe their will be something useful after he makes his cuts?
  13. Well, we could use a good blocking TE. Or a wide receiver that isn't pulled out of the NFL dumpster like several still on the roster today.
  14. Thigpen i think will be one of the last cuts. Just insurance in case one of the other 2 go down. Yeeech, I cannot imagine him having to do anything more complicated that sideline warmups, which we all know he can't even stay aware enough to pull that off.
  15. "They need to take it too the next level".
  16. In some instances you wrote you do have rights. Your first example is silly, because your ONLY right is too walk away and not go to the show. Why the 'tude dude?
  17. Like many i saw that Steelers replay many times. The ball to SJ was not underthrown by any stretch. In fact IMO it was one of Fitz's better thrown balls of his career. That made the drop all the more painful.
  18. When I go to a pre season Bills game it usually kids day. I wouldn't worry about steeler fans, because there are so many kids typically fans are on better behavior. Also getting A-holes 86ed is much easier. However, your mileage may vary.
  19. In B-Lo I would settle for the next Fergy at this point.
  20. I thought they said Belicheck rested 26 players last night?. I thought the eagles and pats* played with more intensity than anything I've seen with the Bills so far in pre season. Scrubs, 1 string whatever. Maybe that's why those teams typically challenge every year? Or maybe since the people we watched the game with really don't care for those teams. And we weren't paying real close attention.
  21. After a second read of this maybe I did bump it up. My point is any ex-Bill seems to be on a permanent chit list after he leaves. I don't think I need to give examples. Using this thread was wrong I admit. I saw Edwards last night and could see he would be a better backup that Thigpen. The guy tried here, he was surronded by clueless coaching. I don't agree that TE's life has gone way down hill since Arizona. His play certainly, in the end Edwards is just on a long list of quarterbacks that haven't been able to get the job done in Buffalo. He's been gone for years and is still trying to get a NFL job. After Vick getting whacked again he just may make the team.
  22. Well so bash another ex-Bill. Edwards has a Stanford degree, and is still in the NFL. And you?
