  1. Fighting them over there is a hell of a lot better than over here. USMC Bills Fan I appreciate your service and don't take my freedom and security lightly. Not only do I want you to come home safe like the weeney liberals always say to cover their misguided chicken asses but I want you to wack a few of those demon bastards while your there. This b.s. "We are the World" philosophy is gonna get us all killed! There's no negotiating with people who blow up innocent woman and children and use it as their main strategy.

  2. I don't think it was limited to that. One of my younger brothers was a bouncer at Kelly's bar. They were a big time group of partyers. Wouldn't help Jimbo if he ran for anything.

There was a lot more snow in Buffalo back then...

  3. There's this director type of another department that is the stereotypical corporate weasel.  Will ask questions and nod and understand, but then call you out in front of your boss.  Will ask for suggestions, disagree, and then bring them up as alternatives in meetings that you're in.

I'm of the same level as this guy, calling him out is an option, but probably not the right one. He's a complete slime ball.

    Comments? Thoughts?

If your boss has any skills he'll pick up on the slime ball game and eventually the problem will solve itself. Lay low and the truth will set you free. :D

  4. just an idea, since teague doesnt like playing center, and he was a tackle with denver...then we wouldnt hafta throw big bucks at a tackle this offseason, just look for a proven center...any thoughts?

Teague would make John Fina look like a stud over there. Keep his brains in the middle.

  5. Its bothering the living stevestojan out of me....I cannot even bring myself to think about this game as a "playoff" matchup given the fact the Bills completely destroyed both teams...and Mike Fartz is in the playoffs...sometimes life just isnt fair!!!

Who cares who wins?  They both stink.

Im not watching a SECOND of their regular season game posing as a playoff matchup.

You can blame the missed 28 yd field goal for that.

  6. One thing I always wondered is where do you draw the line on "stepping on something to kill it"?

I mean, if you saw an ant crawl across your living room, you would step on it, or "squish" it with a tissue, without a second thought.

But what about a lady bug? Just because they are more aesthetically pleasing than a cockroach, we decide we will open a window and let them out? What kind of crap is that?

And then living down here, you see more small lizards than you do insects. I was at a friends house and a tiny little lizard was in her kitchen. I told her to just step on it, and she said "oh my god, no!"... Now, was that simply because it would cause more "guts" to spew out? Or did she dismiss the idea of stepping on it because it is higher on the food chain, or perhaps because it would feel more pain?

Now, say a mouse is in your house. Now we're talking mammal. Sure, you'll set a trap. But given the chance, (and assuming they aren't so damn fast this would be impossible), would you stomp in the little sucker with your boot and kill it?  Why not?  You would if it was an ant or a cockroach.

Just some food for thought... Comments?

It's a judgement call with me. I try to respect life but health and safety of me and the family come first. I used to kill for the thrill but age has softened me up a tad. :)

  7. While attending a Michael W. Smith concert this past December, the PETA folks were gathered at the door passing out brochures asking the question "What would Jesus Eat, and What would Jesus Drive"?  This really irks me good, but a good friend of mine answered it for me.  Looking PETA mite in the eye, he flat out told him off.  Jesus would drive a Dodge Magnum extended cab pickup truck with a 8-cylinder, dual exhaust Diesel engine with a very large ladder rank and topper.  For everyone knew, Jesus was a CARPENTER, and all carpenters would drive that if they had the choice.

The PETA guy about crapped his drawers and came back with, well he was still a vegetarian.  In which my friend replied, sorry pal, he was a jew, and jews ate passover meals which included gouging out the eye of lamb, and giving it as an honored present to the head of the table, which was obviously Jesus.  All the people around clapped and cheered, and the PETA people beat feet out of the area.  Those guys are morons, and not only out of touch with reality, they usually make it up as they go.

That's a perfect response. I wish more people were familiar with the Bible and how God wants us to live.

  8. 22. Alex Smith, TE, Stanford (6-4¼, 257) | previous rank: same

Last game: 1 rec., 30 yds. in a 41-6 loss at California

An incredibly gifted tight end with tremendous body control to adjust to the poorly thrown ball. Smith is a great hook-zone threat and can stretch the deep middle with his speed. Smith should hold on to his spot as the top TE on the board now that he's become a complete tight end this year.

Me and Drew vote for this guy!
