  1. I figured I would create a Gameday thread for today and tonight's festivities. Election day is awesome. I will stay up all night to watch the coverage if necessary. Here, we can share our predictions, up to date news and exit polls, and what we have seen at the polls. I'm going to be voting in about an hour or so. Then, I have to study all day for an exam at 6:00. After that, I'm racing home, making some popcorn and enjoying the show! Haha.
  2. I thought the old saying was Republicans vote in the morning and Democrats vote at night.
  3. Do you have your excuses ready if you're wrong??
  4. Haven't gone yet but this is pretty much what it will look like: President: Obama Senate: Gillibrand (D) Congress NY-27: Higgins (D) State Senate: Mark Grisanti ® State Assembly: Probably a write-in or Republican challenger
  5. My Final Prediction: Obama 281 Romney 257 http://www.270towin.com/2012_election_predictions.php?mapid=brpQ
  6. Silver's model ended with a 91.6% shot of Obama winning. Wow. It will be crazy if he is wrong.
  7. Talking about the 538 blog. You know - the site that this thread is based off...
  8. I am undefeated in Presidential elections! 1-0.
  9. Ohio also moved into the "Likely Obama" category. Only tossup left is Florida. Lean Obama: Colorado Virginia Likely Obama: Iowa Ohio New Hampshire Likely Romney: North Carolina
  10. For this thread only, I'm voting red!
  11. I don't what the hell I was doing! That's what I get for posting after being awake many hours working overnights. Haha The conservatives are definitely waaay worse over here however....or maybe there is just more of them! The other board was much more balanced too. To be fair, some of the posters on the left here are pretty crazy! Lol He still posts a little bit over at the BBMB.
  12. Clever...I guess. I'm not jealous of the people you talk about because I don't measure success with money or wealth. I feel bad for those who do. Every quality you listed comes back to money. I prefer qualities such as honesty and loyalty.
  13. Yes, because every person who is "successful" is a good person who just worked hard for what they have.
  14. http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2012/11/02/us/politics/paths-to-the-white-house.html Really cool interactive about paths to the White House for both candidates. Giving NC to Romney and NEV to Obama, it leaves us with: Obama has 103 ways to win, Romney with 24 ways.
  15. It's better than accusing a Presidential nominee of being a terrorist.
  16. That guy is creepy. Lol What about Jill Stein voters??
  17. OC, I will give you plenty of credit if you are right about all of this. Unlikely, but you would deserve it. The race boils down to this: On Friday, Obama led in 19 battleground polls. Romney led in one.
  18. Obama Obama No...Mitt's done by 10 PM.
  19. Romney is simply grasping at straws now. He knows he is in big trouble in Ohio. Obama has been at 50+ there for a while now.
  20. Consists of the entirety of Bush's and Obama's term. Plus, I think the job market is different than it was 20-30 years ago. We'll rarely see those types of gains that were made back then.
  21. Read the actual memo linked in that "article". It makes complete sense but just take the author's word. They are saving the state's money because the sequestration is uncertain.
  22. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/01/congressional-research-service_n_2059156.html More at the link. Not surprised by the findings of the report or the actions of the Senate.
  23. Oh you're one of these guys. Nevermind.
  24. In the last 118 months which consists of Bush's and Obama's term, the economy has only added 200k+ jobs a month 20 times. TEN of those 20 were under President Obama.
  25. 600k was not added in September. Don't where you heard that. And, I'm sure you have the data on if these jobs are part-time or seasonal...
