Mario Williams: Officially a Buffalo Bill
DocLawless replied to buffalo_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea I mean I really want MW it would make my year if he actually ends up signing with our Bills but if he doesn't make a decision one way or another soon were gonna miss out on guys like wimbley or any other back up plans. -
Garçon and wimbley please!!!! Garçon will probably command about 7-7.5 mil per year and wimbley probably around 11-12 mil per year. Save the rest for our own player signings next year while at the same time filling two very big needs. That's just what I want to see happen anyways!
-
Absolutely. It's just not okay to always constantly complain about the players on your favorite team and constantly preach how much you dont want them here instead of supporting them every once in a while. There are way to many people who ONLY seem to talk about the negative aspects of the certain players and it just gets old to listen to. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way either. As for Fitz he was in pro bowl talks for a big part of his first and ONLY full season of starting every game at qb and he played half of it hurt. I'm not oblivious to the fact he struggled after the redskins game but I'm not gonna just jump off the bandwagon(the same bandwagon that every bills fan was on the first 7-8 games of the season) and start hating him after one year just cause of a subpar second half and like I said it's because I am a fan so I'll support him till he isn't starting.
-
Funny that even when a supporting Fitz thread is started you fake bills fans leave the I hate Fitz thread to come over here and talk your s*** about him and other bills players. We are actual fans you are not. Go away!

Oh I'm sorry has rg3 done something in the NFL recently that I'm not aware of? Nope hasn't played a snap yet but he is def better than Fitz right? I agree completely Indy would never do that and I dont blame them. My point is that there is only one qb in this draft that would be worth compromising two drafts and that is andrew luck. Even then he would have so many holes in the team around him and a severe lack of weapons. It's all about the team not one person. Look what Matt Flynn did with the team Aaron Rodgers has around him on a constant basis. 6td passes in one start.
-
Kinda like the team that drafted Cam Newton? were they not sub 500? They will be again this year too because he throws too many picks. Just like what people on here complain Fitz does. At least Fitz doesn't tell his teammates to "get on his level". What a bad attitude
-
Exactly! Rg3 has apparently been marketed real well because everyone thinks that is going to be an amazing qb all of a sudden. If we were ever going to try to trade up I'd hope it'd be for the only sure thing qb in the draft, luck.
-
I find it crazy that everyone here is so sold that rg3 is going to be an elite franchise qb. Cam newton was at least a proven winner wherever he went and I am glad we didn't draft him cause he has a horrible attitude. I'm not saying that rg3 won't be good but I just don't understand why everyone thinks he will be an elite franchise qb for a decade. He is smaller than any other qb in the league and although he will state that he is a passer not a runner he is going to the run the football and mark my words there will not be many seasons where he starts all 16 games. I can agree that we need a franchise qb soon but I don't want rg3 I'm just not as sold. I think better opportunities will come along next year without us having to give up our whole draft for him.

Maybe Stevie is better than we thought
DocLawless replied to Captain Hindsight's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh how strange. Another bills team and fan basher on TBD. Actually Stevie is a pretty damn good number 1 wr and how about you name me 15 better number 1 wideouts in the league. Good luck. You must be one of those fans that wants to chase the talent we do get out of town huh? Would you like David Nelson to be our number 1 wr next season or perhaps we could sign Dwayne bowe who led the league in dropped passes. Would you like Vincent Jackson for twice as much money as Stevie when he is one dwi or any kind of trouble away from a suspension and has an attitude problem. Maybe you should learn to appreciate the talent that's on the roster of your "favorite team". BTW you took what he said out of context(about those three receivers) and then try to make fun of him for it? Thats nice. -
"Fight on, my men, Sir Andrew said, A little I’m hurt but not yet slain. I’ll just lie down and bleed awhile, And I’ll rise and fight again."

If Stevie Johnson is not retained by the Buffalo Bills
DocLawless replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will also be very disappointed if they don't retain Stevie. He is loved by all of his teammates and he loves playing for this team. Even with Stevie this team needs another receiver so to let him go would confuse me and make me curious as to the amount of will to win at OBD. I am a big fan of the guy so if they let him walk I won't be happy period -
Sorry if I came off rude also bro. Basically everything I said to marauder is also intended for you. I think we are all just in need of a playoff season lol. Winning will give us all a lot of positive things to talk about. I feel Fitz has one more deserved year to prove himself with hopefully a couple more weapons and more health. If he fails then we can put this all to bed but either way I think OBD will take the franchise qb when that opportunity comes along. For now though I think we have many holes that need to be patched up a little bit as a whole. Just MO
-
Well I'm just saying I think Fitz deserves at least another year to prove himself. I am sorry if I come off rude but I just don't think any one player deserves all of the blame for a team not being able to be successful. I am also frustrated at the playoff drought and agree completely with you that we should question a lot of the decision making in the organization just based upon our 1st round draft picks before dareus. I just feel like either way we need to support the team even if there are players starting/on the roster that aren't as good as others and even if Fitz plays the absolute best he can and has a great year i am with the assumption that no matter what we will be looking for a younger more talented franchise qb in the future when the right one and opportunity come along.
-
By my logic since you and d2k would rather sit here and argue about how bad our players are and how good other teams players are you should go be a fan of those teams cause you clearly aren't a good fan of this one. You Fitz haters get so old to listen to. The argument is over fear the beard ended it with his post with facts and quotes on page 7 of this thread. go hate bills players somewhere else. My skin is thick enough to deal with a 12 year playoff drought and not start hating on the organization and it's players how bout you?

Actually he mentioned that two of the lineman have been voted to the pro bowl, one of them more than once. The bills have a combined zero pro bowls between any of the o-lineman. Here's where I'm at. There is an obvious consistency of "line play" (I quote that for a reason) throughout the entire 2011 season. Consistency being the pressure and sacks allowed throughout the season with a rotating group of lineman all year, which was as you say very low amounts. Even the best lines struggle when injuries hit and players have to rotate positions and backups have to start games which also disrupts the unity and rhythm of the line. thus pressure and sacks start to increase which didn't happen enough after the injuries hit to prove to me that the line was as responsible for the low amount of pressure and sacks as the offensive system, game plan, and Fitz release and quick decision making was. As for your link that says Eli manning got rid of the ball faster then Fitz we also have a link on this very thread which is espy supported that Fitz got rid of the ball quicker and all I heard from analysts all season was how quick Fitz got rid of the ball. I trust them over you. Also just so you know IMO if you like Eli manning so much you should become a giants fan don't you think? The way you talk to people on here doesn't sit well with me your rude and negative and you should of stayed at that bills bashed site if that's what you want to do here.
-
Exactly right. Yep your right,. The term earlier was he is the caretaker lol. Hes got another year to prove himself and either way in the next couple years it will be time to jump on our franchise qb when the opportunity comes along.
-
Ya know man I always agree with your posts. You speak truth, sense, and a rare thing called positivity around here. I hope most of these people are hoping they are wrong because all they talk about is how bad the bills are. Isnt this supposed to be a forum for bills fans? So many people on here sit here and pick out certain players on this TEAM with a 53 PERSON roster and bash them. They sit on here as if they were patriots fans and argue to the death how bad the players, management, and other fans are of the team they are SUPPOSEDLY fans of. I don't get it. Fitz isn't the best qb in the league and our o-line isn't the best either but they are our team so we should support all of them while they are playing for our team. I know everyone is sick of losing and it pisses me off too but slowly things are turning around everyone can feel it. Playoffs 2012 mark my words. Wildcard spot. Win or lose think of how great it will be to get excited for a playoff game again. Also calling pro bowl for dareus, wood,, Fitz, Fred, Stevie, and maybe levitre

Bills most disappointing loss since the Super Bowls
DocLawless replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea man it was such a bad decision and made no sense. Nice to see somebody else felt the same way. After watching that video its hard to imagine us losing the game lol. We were completely DOMINATING them on both sides of the ball. -

DocLawless replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep absolutely right I was so confused and upset when they announced rj would start the wildcard game( just because he had a great game against the colts that meant nothing) that i cried. I was only 12 and I loved flutie because of how he played the game and proved all of his doubters wrong. The guy just simply found ways to win games. -
Bills most disappointing loss since the Super Bowls
DocLawless replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was gonna bring that game up I think. If you are talking about the game at new England when flutie was starting at qb and the idiot refs called pass interference on a hail Mary that Bledsoe threw and then the pats won on the next play. I also remember the bills left the field and refused to come out and line up for the extra point cause they were so mad about the awful call so then the pats just went for 2. I was so furious -
Exactly right. Thank you couldn't of said it better myself

Official Super Bowl XLVI Thread
DocLawless replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No luck just skill? You sound like a typical giants fan. Truth is nobody gets luckier or more breaks than the giants. That was the first completion of over 30 yards manningham had ALL SEASON and was the luckiest grab I've seen since tyree caught a HAIL MARY pass on his helmet while completely covered in the middle of the field by Rodney Harrison. Not to mention they wouldn't of even been in the superbowl if punt returner Kyle Williams for the niners hadn't fumbled the NFC championship away. Luck had everything to do with BOTH giant championships
