  2. My biggest worry is Myles Garrett. The guy is an animal.
  3. In all honesty, they drafted him. Im pretty sire they knew what they had. McDermott likes to try and develop players. Theres a pattern with him. He hides them and exposes them little by little. He likes to call it "earn the right..." I think that in combination with Singletary's injury kept him out longer then they wanted. They let McCoy go, and this kid was the reason. My biggest gripe was how they continued to put Gore in the game in critical situations when Singletary was on fire. There's no doubt going forward you need to start Devin. He's too versatile and the defense needs to account for him in too many ways to not utilize him much more.
  4. Thanks for the grade... Shrug
  5. Patriots defense is OVERATED. Ive been saying it all year. They've played no one who has an offense. Its not stunning to me Collinsworth!
  6. Wow, im just sitting here wondering what grade you would give Jimmy Garoppolo this week.
  7. Best player on the team today was Singletary and its not even close.
  8. C+ Overthrow on deep shot, missed TD to Brown, fumble and sub 200 yards passing. He managed the game well and made a clutch throw at the end to seal the deal. It was an average NFL performance with minimal mistakes.
  9. I respect the body of work of Frank Gore throughout his career, but it's painfully obvious Singletary should be the starter. Gore is a one dimensional back at this point in his career, and lacks the elusiveness needed to be an every down back. He doesn't have the break away speed anymore either. Singletary can do it all and makes the defense account for him in multiple ways. He can create huge mismatches in the passing game, and has the burst and agility to break a huge play at any time. The only time Gore should be out there, imo, is to let Devin catch his breath. Go Bills!
  10. Gore is one dimensional. Singletary is not. Running with Gore on 3rd and short is telegraphing a play. This is shameful, especially because Gore is not able to get it done, and obvious to everyone but Buffalo's coaching staff.
  11. Can not believe they keep putting Gore in, in these critical situations. You are literally telling the defense its a run, and an easy stop.
  12. I can not understand how they justify allowing Gore in there over Singletary in critical situations when Singletary is dominating.
  13. Misleading??? He's fumbled it 8 times...nothing misleading about it. Then factor in Ints, and he's looking completely wreckless with the ball...which he is. You shouldn't be averaging 1 int and 1 fumble a game as a starting Qb...that horrendous.
  14. Lol, of course it has an impact. Its a lost down and most of the time lost yardage as well. Recovering a fumble IS ONLY a chance. There is no guarantee you are recovering it.
  15. Throw in his Ints and the picture becomes much clearer. 7 ints and 8 fumbles....in 7 games. The main problem is the offense is no where near strong enough to overcome those mistakes and he places the defense in horrible positions to overcome.
  16. I do as well, but its what I'd like to see him do. I think we will see a heavy dose of Singletary tomorrow. They are going to crowd the line and stop the run. We will either need Singletary to break some big runs to set up some nice play action or Allen will have to bring his A+ game. After last week Im not really looking forward to AP running against us.
  17. I'd like to see 300+ passing with a deep completion or two and no turnovers. I'd like to see him beat the blitz they are sure to bring with his arm, to move defenders out of the box.
  18. what if you throw 2 tds but have a turn over? what if you have 3 sacks but get blown out of the water for a 30 rushing td? what if you have an int but give up 100+ receiving?
  19. Maybe because we are young and full of testosterone and you're old and full of estrogen? Just a ?
  20. You still can't accept passing drives this league and Qbs need to put up big numbers to be successful. Its in black and white in front if your face and you continue to make excuses.
  21. I take away from his data large patterns of information pertaining to Qbs and 300 yard games in correlation with the longevity of their careers. It is directly associated with franchise Qbs and their ability win more often, regardless if it's only 1%. His sampling size looks legitimate to me based on my knowledge of the game and the observations of multiple Qbs throughout the years. I have not the time nor the inclination to double check his statistics regarding the matter. By all means if you question the validity, do the leg work and prove him wrong. I don't think its dicey using n=1. We are focused on a singular objective. 300 yard games in relation to longevity of career. With a large enough sample size a pattern will emerge regardless of other external factors. If you care you account for those other variables, I suggest you look towards a more agressive algorithm which accounts for them....Hint..its called DVOA. Whats interesting is if you look at it you'll quickly discover the top Qbs routinely pass for over 300 yards and have a much higher win percentage. Ill help you.... https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/qb/2019
  22. I manage a multi-million dollar company. I deal with statisics and numbers all day, every day. Statistics drive everything from ordering, to receiving, to sales, to employees production. I understand clearly how stats work. I'll tell you this, 1% here 2% there MATTERS.
