Ignore the facts? Ignore Allen overthrowing a wide open Knox on the first drive. Ignore his terrible pass on 3rd down to knox to tie the game. Ignore missing a wide open Beasley multiple times. I don't care about Qbr, i care about completion % and making the big throws when you need to win. This offense was aneimic, and a big reason was Allen not completing the wide open passes we needed.

Because you blitz Allen in a man coverage, and he fails. Beat the blitz in man coverage and the defense backs off. Blitz Brady and pay the price if you don't get him...big difference.

A couple? What game were you watching? How anyone could defend allen is beyond me. I challenge anyone to find one analyst, one sports commenter to say Allen wasnt the problem this week. It WONT HAPPEN. We were picked against this week by everyone BECAUSE OF ALLEN. Everyone how is anything said Allen wouldn't do enough to win this game, and he didn't.

It cant hurt D has carried us, rest them and give the O all the work they can handle.

The offense needs all the practice they can get. Start the O, bench the defense.

You do realize the offense is supposed to score points, right? Overthrows, bad throws, and bad sacks have nothing to do with the defense. How many points is the defense supposed to hold playoff teams to week after week? We are 28th passing in the league, we have a bottom ranked Qb and people have the audacity to blame the defense that carried tjis team all season. Un-be-lievable.

Runs were called because Allen was ineffective for 85% of the game. They leaned on the run because they had to.

I love how people want to blame the defense. How many 3 and outs? How many yards passing up until the final 2 mins of the first quarter? Come on people! The Defense was on the field all game, with virtually no break because the second they made a stop, the offense couldn't do squat and they were thrown right back out there. The offense and Allen in particular is to blame. You cant have 50% completion and 19 yards passing with 2mins left in the first half....period.

This game comes down to Qb play...bottom line. If you deny it, you are in fantasy land. If Allen throws two accurate passes to Knox, we win. If he doesn't vastly improve next season on his accuracy, we really need to look at Qb position. It is really the only thing holding back this team. This was a winnable game. Mistakes were made by a couple different players, but Allens accuracy is the main reason we lost.

The story is a qb who cant hit the broad side of a barn. Defense has allowed 10pts, with a turn over giving short field, and Allen has done SQUAT. if you think this is on the defense, drink another one.

Defense has been on the field whole first half. Allen has been pathetic. 18 yards passing is ridiculous for a whole half. He's overthrown a td, missed a wide open Beasley, and threw a late pass to Bease. Allen is just not good enough.

Johnson is straight up being abused. Whomever he is covering, they are throwing to.

All that matters right now is beating NE and getting ready to do as much damage as possible in the playoffs. Allen was subpar this year imo, and next year will need to make pretty significant strides in his game to show he's the guy. If he doesn't make a big leap and we see much of the same, it will be time to seriously look at the position. The pieces are are all coming together, we simply need better and more consistent Qb play. Next year will pretty much tell us everything by seasons end.

All things being equal, there is truth in what they are saying. The weakest position is quarterback. With more out of that position, this team would be damn near unstoppable and would probably be a super bowl contender. Dion Sanders has eluded to this as well. Being ranked 28th in passing, if we were somewhere from 10-15 we would be extremely dangerous. Fans need to have a little thicker skin pertaining to Allen. You can have hope but be objective.

This is Brady's last year in New England. The team needs to move on from him. I really think he's going to land in Tampa Bay.

Me...he's my favorite player on Defense

If you think 52% completion percentage for sub 150 yards passing and an INT is higher than a C+ grade, you know less than ***** about this game. Ill take a win to clinch a playoff spot but if you think the offense won this game you are a real fanatic. Allen's performance was lack luster and average at best. He made a few plays which puts him in the C range, which is AVERAGE. He gets the + because he capitalized when it was absolutely necessary.
