  1. Yes, the same Barkley who came off the bench in the 4 quarter and drove the team down the field to score the go ahead TD Zay Jones dropped (for which he was cut for) and put up nearly more yardage in the final minutes of the game than Allen did in nearly a full game. Yes, that Barkley. Ps (love how you edited out my final sentence) thanks for the info I was unaware of the ignore feature and when you are consistently harrassed by the same member over and over I believe it is warranted to make a comment.
  2. Way to prove my point. You ignored everything i brought up in my post to make yet again another blatant accusation.
  3. If my opinions are tiresome don't read them, don't respond to them. Im a fan of this team and I post my thoughts about this team on this message board. There are quite a few others who feel the same way I do. It's not a crime to continuously post how great Allen is, to make excuses about his performances by blaming Wrs, O coordinators, O lines, the wind, the rain, the winter solstice, or any other excuses people want to make for him. Nope, no crime at all. Post away. Take a glimpse of how many Allen is great threads there are. The second a fan of the same team says wait a minute, Im not going to make those claims, im going to call it how I see it, they all of a sudden have an agenda, they're called names, they are silenced and they are harassed. Ive been on these boards for 8 years. Mostly reading opinions. Never cared to post because of the flaming people got for not going with the status quo. If you don't like my content nor agree with it, and its so tiresome to you, ignore it, like an adult. You can continue to throw out claims that Allen is improving over and over, yet offer no explanation as to why we are ranked 28th in passing or why his completion percentage is sub 60% on the year with a vastly improved offense around him. You refuse to see anything wrong with his game and continue to blame all the things he can't control as I already mentioned. You compare him to others in his draft class on losing teams, with terrible coaches, but ironically have better completion percentages and are generally more consistent. Pray tell, what does Allen look like on a Jets team right now??? Or a Cleveland team? What would his stat line be??? Its homerism. Plain and simple. The reality of this season is the roster is talented enough to win and the defense and great coaching have taken this team to the playoffs. I pray to the football gods Barkley starts this week against the Jets so fans get a glimpse of what a consistent accurate Qb on this team would look like. It would be a complete force to reckon with. I didnt call a mod, try rereading.
  4. You called ME silly. You ignored everything in my post in order to personally attack me. End of story
  5. Call the mods. You put a clear personal attack towards me, not my post.
  6. The only thing silly is you comparing Allen and his situation to Darnold and his. Ill tell you the same thing I told the rest of your band of merry men, you don't like what I post, then don't respond to it. I don't care to respond to, read, or interact with you in any way shape or form. In fact, if there was an ignore button I'd be using it.
  7. Darnold is stuck with Gase and missed a month of football. Baker is stuck with Kitchens who couldn't scheme up anything outside of dinner. If Darnold were playing here, or even Baker for that matter, both their stats would be way higher. The fact that both were thrust into two different systems in two years with two ***** coaches and still perform better than Allen should speak volumes. I can guarantee neither one of them are coached up or prepared as well as Allen week to week year to year.
  8. Also left out all his fumbles and combined his rushing Tds with passing Tds. Disingenuous to say the least. And a 1-5 record when he's under 60% completion vs 9-0 when he's over 60. No one likes to touch that stat though.
  9. What's next, Vinny Testaverde off the couch?
  10. Yea, brutal. 8 games against playoff caliber teams from this season.
  11. I'd honestly bench the entire first string defense and make the offense play they need all the work they can get at the very least at least the first half. We need to get a good quick fast start out of the O.
  12. Texans. I think it's a winnable game too. Divisional round against the Ravens may be the end of the line though.
  13. Who works for CBS sports, aka national media. And that article in and of itself was completely objective. No bias whatsoever.
  14. I disagree. Im more than fair. There's no doubt he makes some magic plays, but there's no doubt his bad is really bad. If I remember correctly, when Allen is over 60% completion we 9-0. When he's under, we are 1-5. His accuracy and completion % is and always was his downfall. If these metrics don't improve and improve quickly, next year will be a disaster, especially because of the success we've had this year will lead to a much more difficult schedule next year. Year 3, there will be no excuses.
  15. No its not. 3 quarters of less then inspired play, followed by a magic 4th quarter week in and out is pretty much what it is.
  16. Absurd? Im just going to leave this right here. This is and objective review of Allen by the same national media. (with clips in link) "And that is how a quarterback goes 13-for-26. And that is why he now has 14 starts with a 55 percent completion rate or lower. As in, 14 of his 26 starts. Not great. Maybe not the guy you take out of Wyoming with the seventh overall pick. Just a thought." https://www.google.com/amp/s/boston.cbslocal.com/2019/12/22/josh-allen-was-terrible-great-afc-title-game-preview-leftover-patriots-thoughts/amp/ Consistency and accuracy has been his biggest problem and his minimal improvement in those areas is what objective fans are concerned about and point out. Its not absurd to say Allen displays 25% magic and 75% sub par play in the majority his career.
  17. C- 20 yards of passing for the first 28 minutes of the game. Failed to capitalize on short field from defensive turnover. Failed to capitalize to a wide open Knox with the game on the line. The only thing saving him from a D grade was the fact he had no turnovers. This was a below average performance.
  18. CB is a pretty big need. Johnson was abused over and over today. Edge rusher, Wr, Cb. Whichever one has highest value for the pick you take.
  19. No facemask, no intentional ground on Brady, phantom PI on Tre White, no personal foul on Brady trying to trip a player (lawson i believe) after he was tackled for a loss trying to run for a first down, first down spotting of the ball when it was clear their RB was down on a crucial 4th down.... The list goes on and on.
  20. Well look at the defensive performances against the Cowboys, the number 1 O in the league. They were shut down on the road. Look at the defense against the Ravens, a team that simply mauled and ran over every opponent they've faced, including the patriots vaunted number 1 defense. I questioned how good our defense was until i saw them play upper echelon offenses, and for the most part nullify them. The defense is real and has carried us, but its unrealistic to expect them to shut down and stop every team every week. The league is designed to give offense the upper hand.
  21. Qb is the focal point of the team, of pretty much any NFL team. Try being a bit more objective about our own Qb and maybe Id take you more seriously. I don't really care to converse with you anymore. So I won't be responding to you any further.
  22. Its very simple. Who cliched the AFC East ? prior to tonight's game. Answer - no one If Buffalo won tonight, who clinched the AFC East ?? Answer - no one It all would have ridden on week 17 to determine the outcome of the division. We lost any chance of winning the East by losing tonight. No game is a give me and anything can happen in any given week. NE clinched by defeating US.
