Please stop saying they had 2 weeks to prepare. Coach sent them home for an entire week. They watched film on Monday, practiced on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday just like every other week. Their heads were out of football for the bye week and it showed in the first half.

To me, it is so weird that many people here are obsessed with the opposition’s record. We don’t make the schedule. We play the games that are assigned to us. We have won 5 of the 6 we were scheduled to play so far this year. What the hell difference does it make whether those teams have won all their games or none of them. No matter, we still have to play and try to win those games. Maybe it’s just BBFS and trying to find something to whine about. Because that’s what Bills fans do. the moral of the story is that we can only win the games we play.

A light bulb went off for me last night when Amari Cooper caught a couple of long shots downfield. It was mentioned during the broadcast as well that having a guy that demands double coverage, or over the top help makes all the difference in the world for Dallas. I believe John Brown is perfect for the Bills and for Allen right now. Even with his successes, we clearly don't have anyone on the roster with proven skill sets that demand double coverage or every down help. That person alone would make all the difference with this offense, as it clearly did for the Cowboys. Josh still gets WAY too amped-up in games, and it shows when he gets excited on the deep ball.

Again, they came up big when they needed to with Tre and Jordan Phillips. the old adage of “any given Sunday” tells us that any team can have a strong game. Miami played their hearts out today. We came up on top, as we should’ve. Point spreads mean absolutely nothing to NFL teams. It’s either win or lose. We are 5-1. There’s no such thing as “if we play that way against good teams.” Today, Miami played like a good team and we beat them.

Funny how your game perception still resulted in a solid win. We should lay more eggs just like that!

There’s a misnomer that teams that play badly one week are more motivated to play better the next game. If you tend to play badly of late, which the Eagles have, you need more than just emotional motivation to turn that around. A good beat down will send them to Buffalo questioning their strengths.

Both these teams are on a downward spiral. I don’t want the Eagles because I don’t want their downward momentum to end until after the Bills game. However, I don’t have any faith in Dallas.

You know, the Bills always have to spot the other team a lead before they begin to start playing.

One time a year, I love them.

I believe this is one of the biggest tests for the Bills this season. Let’s see if the young guys let the 4-1 record go to their heads, or if they keep the pedal to the floor. In my opinion, the really good teams play their game regardless of the opponent. Mediocre teams play down or up to the level of the competition. The eye test will show if the 2019 Bills are a real contender much better than any other game so far this season.
