Thank you for a great analysis. You are spot on. The main takeaway for me was that it takes great coaching to turn a team around. The Bills were clearly losing focus and were sliding. McDermott chose to make some changes including the Daboll booth move, pulling Levi Wallace out, and shaking up the d-line rotation a little bit. Some here also speculated that he was calling the defense today. No matter, it worked and it worked well.
Some people are quick to point out the losing records of the teams we beat. Regardless, when we play our game, we beat the teams we have on our schedule. Compared to the previous several games, and the first Dolphins game, we looked like a much different and better team to me. If coaching can keep the trend going, we do have a chance in every remaining game, except perhaps the Ravens. This is just the kind of progress that marks a good up-and-coming team. I for one, like it.
