  1. If you were a vet CB would you sign before the draft? Not unless you were offered a huge deal, you wouldn't. Guys don't get paid at this time of year anyway so might as well wait and see what opens up for you after the draft. Beane might want to use his leverage of not needing to fill a bunch of spots on the 53 with rookies, to make a draft-day trade as well. He might surprise us, no? with George Seifert?
  2. The Coliseum in Rome is 1952 years old. I'd like to see Lambeau in that many years. 🙂
  3. The player and his agent have to be willing at the same time. If they would've rather moved on, then all they have to do is reject renegotiation. In this case, it certainly appears that "Rick" wanted to be here and was more than happy to simply know his true value around the league.
  4. So, let’s say the Jets draft Sauce at #5. That would free up Brandin Echols or Bryce Hall which would make sense as a #2 CB in a trade for maybe a 2nd or ideally a 3rd. I could support a move like this, or similar. what say you?
  5. It’s been so long since he accomplished anything on the field, I’m not sure he still can get it done. Sanders at least had a good half-season.
  6. You seem to forget that the Bills now have Von Miller. What will Tua's great improvement look like when he is on his backside all game?
  7. He can sign with us as "Rick" and sign with da Bears as "Ryan". Then, he gets double the pay. Might be a little tired on Tuesdays, but so what?
  8. I don’t know where you come up with an established time. No two injuries are alike and neither are players’ commitment to rehab work. We have all seen some guys come back at 6 months. We have also seen guys like Teddy Bridgewater take 2 years. Maybe what you’re referring to is an average time stat. That’s a tough comparison as 350 lb linemen clearly have different physical challenges than backs, corners or receivers. So, I am saying that averages cannot apply to a given individual. It is obvious to me that Tre is driven. He’s driven to be the best. He’s driven to work harder. He will be driven to be ready. This is what makes me say that.
  9. You guys are smoking some good stuff up there. Tre would need to get run over by a bus to not be ready for the season. Will he be his 100% best, perhaps not. But, he’ll be on the field.
  10. I bet the board will be loving this signing. 😜
  11. Dane looked better and better every week. Sure he's still learning but, it's not anything close to a disaster. I'm betting Tre will be ready, if not at 100%. Yes, we have to add somebody who's played in the league and a rookie. I strongly believe that someone that can play at the level Wallace was at will be fine and is all we need to get started. Remember, Taron has been a lock-down in the slot. Tre and Dane are 1-2 on the outside moving forward.
  12. Bates is both versatile and extremely smart. If the offer sheet is at all reasonable, match the offer.
  13. Wouldn't it be so very Billzy to have everyone completely lose interest in the NFL just as the Bills are ready to win the Big One? Just our luck! (Right?)
  14. emptying garbage cans, fetching coffee, shining shoes…
  15. Maybe that's why we now have a new OL coach. But don't let that hold up your crusade.
  16. I'm still down here searching for Superbowl XXV Championship t-shirts. Haven't found any yet!
  17. That makes it legal, but it doesn't make it ethical.
  18. Seems like a popular thing lately, doesn't it?
  19. I completely agree. While it may not be true yet, opportunities are clearly presented for many to benefit by predetermining outcomes, if only in subtle less noticeable ways. Now, maybe this has been going on for years and we're only realizing it now due to the involvement of gambling in sports, but I suspect you can't keep impropriety from the game anymore. One or several bad actors will clearly be involved at some level. And truthfully, the owners themselves may be at the root of it all.
  20. Will Brady bring in Joe Burrow as Josh's new back-up?
  21. All this talk of a power struggle is naive to say the least. The boss is the boss and any of the underlings who don't like it can find the door. Since when does a coordinator have any right to usurp the power of the head coach? They don't. I think this is just sour grapes from a former head coach who doesn't like that he was fired. Making up sh!t about other guys to support your agenda will not get you very far in the NFL. GMs and owners have long memories and there are precious few jobs. This is not a good look for Flores. It would also be wise for Daboll and anyone else associated with this rant to distance themselves from the story.
  22. But, can he eat a side of beef in a single sitting?
  23. Maybe Josh kicked in a few bucks to keep Dorsey.
