Still the Bills left 14-21 points out there......
clayboy54 replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
You’re lying. You are complaining, as you so often do. You are insufferable. Me, I’ll take the “W” any way we can get it. Who will care about whether it might have been a different score if so-and-so didn’t do this or that. We are finding ways to win, as all good teams do. Maybe they’ll get better as the season progresses. -
I read right here that Daboll was a failure at every job he ever had and that McD screwed the pooch by hiring him. so, how can we be having this conversation?

The guy has been so disrespected by the Packers. They never gave him the weapons he needed to consistently supplement his immense skillset. Frankly, the team jerked him around one too many times (Adams). Now, Aaron's just playing his time out, collecting rather huge checks, and planning his retirement on a hippie commune somewhere, if you ask me. I truly believe his bad attitude is reflective only of what cards he's been dealt by the Packers organization.

(NoJinx) Von Miller Buffalo Legacy
clayboy54 replied to Riverboat Ritchie's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you didn't notice yesterday, Von was doubled much of the time. He either had two on him, or help from the second TE or RB. Seldom was he singled up on the tackle. He still made plays and got a couple sacks. Mario won't make the WOF. Neither will Von. The WOF is all about long-term Bills contributors who were a part in making the Bills who they are. He sure is good, though. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Bills Win in Kansas City, 24-20
clayboy54 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've always thought that McKenzie was a really good spot player. Put him in the game to add some mystery to the offense. Might be a gadget, or just another wrinkle to an already lethal short passing game. Unfortunately, the "Peter Principle" caught the Bills apparently by surprise. Isaiah earned a bigger role, especially after last season's NE game. But, he earned a bigger role that he simply is not capable of. Whether he loses focus, concentration, or just can't handle the additional responsibility, McKenzie seemingly just loses his way. I am not a proponent of cutting him, as some here have suggested. He is still a wonderful spot contributor on offense. It is abundantly clear to me that he is just not capable of carrying the load required of a starting slot guy on a championship caliber offense. He's been around awhile now. He's not going to change much from where he's currently at. After his game yesterday, I have to believe that the coaching staff has also come to that final realization. Like so many others before him, Lil Dirty will have to be content with spot duty as a role player moving forward. -
Should we be worried?

Since when does Michael Irvin ever care about what anyone else says? -
This deal has “Cottrell” written all over it. Stop expecting something that may never happen in WNY. Unless private money pays for it, we’re all in for a big disappointment.

BARNBURNER ALERT - Commanders @ Bears TNF
clayboy54 replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bears season ticket holders should get a full refund, get to keep their tickets and get free concessions for cruel and unusual punishment. -
Ah, 1963... my first year with season tix. Can't say that I remember this particular game. Great memories of good times with my dad though.

I heard the Hanoi Hilton was full of Bills fans.
-
Cody Ford might be available.
-
I remember Walt Patulski. 😭
-
You just heard that from John Harbaugh.
-
“You run downfield and tackle your own guy.” What a great concept!
-
Where’s Walt Coleman when you need “just give it to him.”
-
McDaniels ought to be fired on the spot for that decision.
-
That’s because it’s usually a team like Alabama playing against a community college.
-
I hear Matt Canada might be coming available soon. 😝

“How’s his wife and kids?”

'Maine's leadership and understanding of the defense was missed, especially without Hyde and Poyer. Plus, he's been having a career year so far and has been a play-maker like we've all wanted. His absence definitely affects the overall defense.

Hot take: Shakir should be the starting slot receiver going forward

...when the wind is not blowing like a hurricane. -
Tua was roughed up by the ground. There were no questionable hits on him in either our game or the next. You can't protect players - even Tom Brady - from hitting his head on the turf. You are sadly mistaken about Hussey. He is one of the better, and more consistent officials today. He runs a top-notch crew and typically doesn't call many ticky-tack penalties. I can't take issue with your criticism of Boger.

Yes. There are a lot of really good players that have to be accounted for. Some are RBs and some are in the AFCE. The point is that every team has playmakers that you have to game plan for. This should not be a new concept, even for the Jets. I'm happy for Breece that he's found a place he can shine early on in his career.
