We’re you really there to see that? You must be older than me!

I’m pretty sure that the Bills fan base is made up of 80% miserable human beings. Always finding the most negative aspects and railing on anybody who sees any positive. To those 80%, WGR is their bully pulpit. “Fire the coach’” is their rallying cry. Their misery is for some reason contagious and it has reached epidemic status on here. Sports is supposed to be fun. To them it is yet another platform to spew hate and negativity. It’s just sad and pathetic.

You, are a real piece of work.

I hope his prosthetic leg holds up okay under the mammoth pressure of the fan base. -

But, but, I read here he should be cut, retire or didn’t want to play on turf or even play football anymore. Why is he active? -

I haven’t missed anything. Especially their boneheaded decisions leading to failure. -

Lions, Goff and “attack” do not belong in the same sentence. -
What a great name though!

Can you at least wash the skid marks out of them first?
-
While they’re there, are they going to tour the birthplace of Ralph C Wilson?
-
They should wear the 1960 uniform to mess with the Lions.

Tre'Davious White - when will he be ready?

Thanks for the kind remark. -
Seriously, there are a lot of very dim-witted NFL players, you have to admit.

Next, the ACLU will sue because the NFL uniforms are racist against the color-blind. Oh boy!

I think you’re taking it a little too deep. Not having long-term guaranteed contracts is not at all fixed wage scales. These guys can earn as much or even more with the current way the contracts are incentivized for production. That would all go away with guaranteed contracts. Also, it goes both ways which would not be good. On a guaranteed contract, the ability to renegotiate would not be as available. Plus, the no-cut, no-trade clauses and similar verbiage would probably not apply. Plus, what does that do to the salary cap? Signing bonuses and other incentives? Okay, I understand that a guaranteed contract is a hedge against serious injury. Other than that, it is not what it is made out to be for the players. This would open the door to re-designing The Whole Enchalada. As I see it, the only thing that would do is guarantee a player strike. (And rightfully so.)

Sure. Let’s leave the inexperienced secondary on an island, while we’re at it. It’s always a compromise. One or two well-timed blitzes is enough for me. Too much investment is DL to need to keep bringing 5-6 every down.

I think we should change to all dark green with white stripes, so they blend in with the field. You could sneak guys downfield and nobody would be able to see them. 😛

Who still uses a black & white television? Analog TV went away years ago. Those TVs would not even pickup digital channels. Step into the 21st century, please.

I follow your thought process. However, how do we know that it’s just not an issue where the pieces can’t grasp the playbook? Or maybe they just look bad in practice. I don’t think that Dorsey or McDermott is just being stubborn and penalizing the team because they don’t like somebody. That’s something a guy like Bill OBrian would do. Our playbook is known to be complex. It also is likely very different than college or WCO teams, as an example. Therefore, it is not hard to imagine that some of these guys are not able to grasp all the concepts in their first weeks, months or even year on the team. These guys are often not the sharpest knives in the drawer, remember.

Of course they did. But, where is illegal to decide how you can run your private business. This is not a government institution. It’s the NFL. If they make a rule to have a salary cap, is it illegal? If they make a rule that you cannot trade players after the deadline, is it illegal? If they make a rule that no fully guaranteed contracts are allows, it is likewise not illegal. Neither was player rights ownership, until the government decided to meddle and make it so. I suppose they could do the same thing here. But, if they do they could also say that all tailgates are illegal, or all seats must be priced at $300. Or that no drinking is allowed at NFL games. Do you want them to continue down this path, or just leave things alone?
