Why did they have to make her look like side-show Bob? Just google "Domino Cosplay" and you'll find a lot better versions done by amateurs. There's even a few dudes. -
May Movies: Deadpool, Solo, Overboard, & Breaking In
unbillievable replied to Mark Vader's topic in Off the Wall Archives
It's a re-make. Solo looks like crap, but probably going to be forced to see it opening weekend. Deadpool seems promising, but Domino is fugly. Too bad, since she was a favorite growing up. -
I still don't understand how cops are able to tell the race and gender (or tansgender) of the person driving 70+ mph to know who to pull over.

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency

Prisoners freed and we didn't have to release any Terrorist leaders to do it? Outrage! Someone at work said that the only reason they released those prisoners is because Kim Jong Un didn't want any other "Kim"s in his country. -

Whitey women keeping the black women down
unbillievable replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Back to the article. What we need is a clear explanation of the intersectionality hierarchy; Who's at the top and who are at the bottom? In other words, who has to shut up, listen, and admit their privilege whenever a superior intersectional being on the chart enters the room. -
Whitey women keeping the black women down
unbillievable replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Probably because the article specifically blames white women for black women's problems? He's simply saying to blame yourself (or themselves), and not some arbitrary boogie man; like the patriarchy or Republicans. Feels like you're adding a lot of subtext to point out racism. Is it problematic to tip a black waitress with dollar bills because George Washington... Should I use pennies instead? Sorry, i shouldn't have described her as "black"... non-gendered homo-sapien... sorry for using "homo"... uh. nevermind. -
Whitey women keeping the black women down
unbillievable replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Taken at face value, the comment that "black women keep black women down" points to the default understanding that a person is responsible for their own problems. I also think, that because of the current sensitivity to diversity, any mention of race is automatically called "racist," even if it does not adhere to the dictionary definition. It's in the same spirit as California omitting race when describing persons of interest in a crime investigation, because it can be "problematic." FYI; every time you hear someone use the word "problematic," it usually means they are full of $%#@. Think about it, they're making a fuss about something that could possibly turn into a problem if some oversensitive whiner takes it the wrong way and gets offended. -

It's not racist to point out a location where you can people watch. What if he had said to pay attention to women at the bar or beach, how about Mcdonald's or the Grocery store? -

The notion of a black and white world with very little grey is a typical characteristic of immature minds. It's the reason Liberals are typically younger than 30 years old. The exception to this are people who are sheltered from the "real world" by staying in "safe spaces"; like universities and their parent's basements; or mooching off society through welfare to live their dreams as artists, actors, or activists. People forget that habits can be just as hard to break as addictions. We need re-habit centers. -

My family used to live in Las Vegas, NEW MEXICO, so I routinely watched packages wrongly shipped to Nevada. I got in the habit of watching how packages travel. Even made a few phone calls during the Harry Potter book 7 and PS2 craze when everything went to hell. My sister freaked out when her HP book was getting transferred from USPS to Fedex and circling in the city. She thought someone else was reading her book...

If it's a busy holiday; Christmas, Mother's Day, etc; mail carriers will prioritize air deliveries over ground packages. They don't want to hire extra help, so they postpone non-guaranteed delivery until the rush is over. This happens around every federal holiday, but sometimes can also occur when a delay occurs along the route; ie closed airport or weather. FedEX smartpost and UPS Surepost are contracts with USPS to move packages because the post office can't handle the volume. It's what Trump mentioned about USPS losing money on the Amazon contract. The Post office actually pays a 3rd party carrier more than what they're getting from the customer. I believe (not sure) that the company that delivers it to your door is usually the one the shipper used; it's up to them how they get it across the country, whether it be rail, boat, plane or Fedex, before getting the package back to finish the process.

The New York Times is fake news. Any cheerleader who thinks that they are not a "sex symbol" should not be taken seriously... especially since they were there to shoot a calendar. -
It's a good way to get people to buy 30+ items a year to justify the cost. Personally, I can wait an extra 3 days for my stuff to arrive. If I need it immediately, I'll go to a store locally.

Would Allen have been there at 12?
unbillievable replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We know for a fact that Allen wouldn't have lasted until 12, because he was drafted at 7
