  1. Worthy has the best chance but will be injury prone. Small and fast receivers don't last long. Pearsall is buried behind good receivers; He'll be good for another team. Legette and Polk will have growing pains with their young QBs; their teams will rebuild again. Coleman has to wait (like Shakir) and will probably be a solid #2 like Davis. McConkey will be pushed to succeed early. Chargers have no one else. I see success as getting a second contract. McConkey will get paid.
  2. I can see Jordan Love challenging for MVP. No holes in your lineup. Team is loaded; i'm guessing an 8 or 10 team league? Nervouse that Pitts is hurt and you don't have a backup.
  3. Love the RB starters. I would personally dump Hebert, he burned me last year with his inconsistency. WHEN Achane gets hurt, Mostert will be a monster. Solid production players; no surprises in this lineup. Possible sleepers in Reed and Davis. I don't Believe in Young, but you never know.
  4. My co-worker, who is NOT a Bills fan, drafted Josh Allen #2 overall; just after McCaffrey. It's a PPR league.
  5. Nope. It gets MORE exciting. You target sleepers and possible breakout players. You're on the edge of your seat hoping that no else sees what you see. You actually roster players you want rather than getting stuck with randoms that no else bid on. The thrill is in sneaking players under people's noses. It's watching someone mistakenly taking C. Otton because of the xperts and forgetting about Taysom Hill. Although I can see how an auction would be better for people who only know the top 50 players and don't know, or care, about the rest of their team.
  6. Also means the guy was probably bored out of his mind filling out the rest of his roster.
  7. If everyone knows you're a Bills fan, wouldn't they jack up the cost of Josh Allen knowing you would pay above market value? Let me guess, after the best players are taken in an auction draft, the rest of the players usually go for minimums or no one else bids. Snake drafts gets more exciting as the pool of players dwindle. Yes, like the real NFL draft, the top 2 rounds are predictable, that's why the best make their money in the mid/late rounds.
  8. edit: after reading about it more, I would hate auctions. You are dependent on knowing the other members instead of knowing NFL players. You need to study each other. This will give a huge advantage to longtime players vs newbies. How would a new person know what the cost ranges would be? Any Biases or Feuds would be exploited. Family/Couples can bleed loners dry. Not fair at all.
  9. I would draft St Brown at 5. I like his steady production. Like a machine. I know he's rated lower, but that just means it was guaranteed that I would take him if I drafted top 8. Micky, Reek, Lamb, Jefferson, then Amon. Chase (normally) would be here. Then B Hall, Bijan, Brown and Wilson ... Chase/Saquon/Taylor would be the toss up for me. Ideal would be WR in 1st because 2nd round is chock full of RB options that are tossups.
  10. Nobody famous, but... My commissioner is running 5 different leagues all with different point systems and position requirements. One of his leagues penalizes for sacks/interceptions so that QBs get low points, and even go negative (like Josh vs Jets wk1 ). My league penalizes fg misses so some players didn't even draft a kicker. Justin Tucker went in the 5th. I would be more disgusted drafting Tua. No Fish on my teams.
  11. Having Defensive players separates the casuals from the nerds. Scouting kickers points out the obsessives. The good thing about auto-pick is that it doesn't get emotional. How many of us picked Shakir, Kincaid, or Colman too early?
  12. I love the guys who auto-pick. It clears out the questionable players since the computer doesn't care about injuries/holdouts.
  13. Both Josh and Kelce went in the 2nd. Last year both Mahomes and Kelce went in the 1st. My League is weird. I'm the only Bills fan, but no way am I going below 3rd rnd for any QB. I was happy to nab Shakir in the 14th. The guy who drafted K Coleman (12th rnd) already traded him for a back-up QB.
  14. I would take him after AJ Brown, and G Wilson, but at 9 I would also consider a RB like J Taylor, S Barkley, or Ky Williams. Of course, you can also just choose Chase and hope he helps in the playoffs when it really counts.
  15. I'm curious what round Kelce went. Also, is it the standard QB RB RB WR WR TE format or are those the starters? I had to choose between Godwin and Ridley, and like you, I'm hoping Shakir will overtake them both. I was afraid of Lamb getting lazy after his contract or starting slow because of the holdout. Glad I picked late to avoid deciding on him and Jamar Chase. I avoided Chicago players precisely because of the wealth of targets. The same with Houston. While that maybe a mistake on my part, I tend to favor "only option" type players for volume. That's why i'm banking on Shakir getting 100+ targets.
  16. 12 team PPR league. Point system is bizarre so I included comparisons. Proj wk 1 vs #1 each position 21.5 QB J Hurts -dropped to 4th QB taken. (J Allen 22.8) 20.1 WR ARS Brown -1st rnd (T Hill 23.3) 14.4 WR C Godwin - meh. reliable points 13.9 WR J Reed -current #1 in GB over Watson. Hoping for a breakout. 16.0 RB T Etienne -2nd rnd. wanted ky Williams. Below value pick. (C McCaffrey 23.8) 15.9 RB J Jacobs -3rd rnd. Run on WRs, decided on RB value. (B Hall 19.0 in 2nd place.) 10.0 TE D Shultz -13th rnd scrap heap.. Weakest pick. waited 1 rnd too long in the 7th. (SL Porta 16.1) 14.0 D Buffalo -complete homer pick. probably lose out on 3pts per game... (Cin 17.7) 9.5 K Y Koo- who cares really. (J Tucker 10.2) 13.3 Df B Okereke -best available. (F Oluokun 16.1) 11.4 DL M Crosby-was #1 fantasy DL last year. (D Hunter 12.0) 12.3 LB Q Williams- Chose him over Bernard because of constant injuries... 12.0 DB J Bates- was #2 fantasy DB last year. (B Branch 14.1). 17.4 BN RB A Kamara -swaps out with Etienne/Jacobs weekly. All 3 about the same projected points. a steal in the 5th 12.6 BN RB T Spears -mostly for KR/PR. League awards 1pt for every 25yds on special teams. 11.6 BN WR K Shakir -Hoping to beat out Reed/Godwin as my breakout. K Coleman was taken earlier. 12.7 BN WR R Shaheed- Also for KR/PR experiment. 7.6 BN QB/TE Tysm Hill... Just for giggles. 18th rnd. Cut candidate for injuries/byes I'm interested to see how the kickoff pnts will work. Going by preseason, that's an easy 3-5pnts added to their base. Basically a point for every kickoff return. Because of the 3 WR requirement, there was a run on them early. Waited too long and got the middling scraps.
  17. They should fire her campaign manager. No one cares who endorses her. Everyone voting for Harris is doing it because they hate Trump. The Democrats could have run a paperclip on the ticket and it would get the same polling numbers as Kamala.
  18. I'm pretty sure that can get you kicked off a plane.
  19. We'll just have to make-do with manly women.
  20. The GOP will progressively move left on their stance on Abortion as the number of Singles outpace Married couples. While the article may seem ridiculous, those protestors may believe that not allowing Abortion up to Birth is the same as banning it. We use to draw the line at Yes vs No, but now it's more about how far along the pregnancy we should allow. 6wks seems to be the current line to be called a "Pro-lifer."
  21. This is a discussion between what we want to believe, and what is actually happening. Dating sites prove just how shallow both men and women act when they don't have to justify their choices in public. Instagram gives Women the attention they crave, and porn satisfies the basic urges for Men.
  22. IF younger women are dating older men, Who are the older women dating? While older women dating younger men happens, it's still rare enough to be made into a movie.
  23. i consider the %20 of Gen Z that identify as non-binary the same as the 20% of older women that used to identify as Emo, Goth, and Punk when they were younger.
  24. An interesting stat is that twice as many men report being single vs women. Have to assume the women are lying. Otherwise, millions of men are having threesomes.
  25. Won last years championship as True Billiever
