Seahawks turn down Jets offer of the #10 pick for DK Metcalf
unbillievable replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't understand how every NFL fan on the internet was in love with DK during the draft, and he still fell to the end of the 2nd round. I honestly believe that if they let the fans pick a team's 1st and 2nd round, they would do better. -

Wish we could trade Cody Ford for DK. 😔 -

I wrongly assumed that people remembered that Bruce played for the Redskins. Basham, Epenesa, and Lawson have highlight plays from the RDE. So does Von Miller. I think Groot is the only one that hasn't been moved. I may be the only one left, but I think Epenesa will become elite this year. A 12+ sack season. -

Bruce Smith played for Washington to finish his career. That's what I expect Von Miller to be here. He was a situational pass rusher (still very good) but wasn't the Dominant force he was in Buffalo. -

I wonder if they are going to limit him during the season, like they did Diggs, Beasley, Sanders, (even Josh) so they can Unleash him for the playoffs. -

We got Bruce Smith from Washington, not Buffalo. -
Cryptocurrency....the future...are you in?
unbillievable replied to TwistofFate's topic in Off the Wall
People have been selling commodities for centuries, but now we've evolved into selling... nothing; like e-comic books, sports cards, and NFTs. In the future, will these digital collections be worth money? or will they just disappear? I think the reason that 20-30yr olds are jumping on this faster is because they are the first generation to grow up in a digital world where they pay for MUT cards and e-books. Society has taught them that imaginary objects have value. -
Cryptocurrency....the future...are you in?
unbillievable replied to TwistofFate's topic in Off the Wall
I find a lot of stories about people saying they have a lot of money in Crypto... ...and horror stories of finding out they can't turn it back into dollars. ...is this like when someone says they have $1 million dollars worth of beanie babies? -
Season Tickets on-sale to waitlist members

I have a feeling that Buffalo is getting flooded by scalpers. Hope they prioritize long time season ticket holders. -
Did anyone go to University but not make any friends there?
unbillievable replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
I didn't have time to make "friends"; only class-mates. I was closer to my coworkers. I worked full-time and went to school full-time. I also supported family members... while being self-sufficient. I was invited out, but I barely had enough money to buy a coke, much less food. I remember making excuses that "i forgot my wallet" and would sit there as everyone ate burgers while i slow-sipped my drink. Eventually, I just stopped going. Felt pointless to just "hang out" The first time I ever got drunk was the day after my dissertation. I always wondered how my classmates were able to party so much. Basically do nothing. It never occurred to me that they were incurring crippling debt. I graduated debt free. College was grind for me, probably the worst phase of my life. I hear about all the great stories and sometimes wonder If I did the right thing... -
Imagine having someone on the roster who has a shot at making a 75 yard field goal. Instead of kneeling down at the half, attempt a FG at your own 40.
-
He doesn't hold because he also kicks field goals.

Bills FA so far (using Sal C. tables)
unbillievable replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dane Jackson looked good enough last year to hold onto CB2. Neal and McCloud also looked decent. The Bills just need depth at LB, OL, and CB, But they have solid starters at every position except Punter. I'm expecting the bills to draft a Punter, no later than the 5th, but could be 3rd/4th. -
Huge win for progressives!!!

This statistic will save the Democrats. There will not be enough transgender athletes to make a major impact on women's sports. It will be brushed off as a minor inconvenience in the wider agenda of social justice. Because... no one even watches women's sports anyway. -

I've read/watched the arguments in favor. It's not about being fair. It's not about biology. The leftists already know they lost that argument. The only thing they have left is social justice. We have to do this for Inclusivity. It's about "trans-rights". Nothing else matters. Diversity is more important than insert cause here (Sports). -

unbillievable replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I didn't want to get into this controversy before listening to arguments from both sides. I realized quickly that this isn't as simple as it seems. The ARGUMENT: We need to sacrifice Women's sports in the name of Inclusivity. THe same way we sacrificed our standards for Firefighters/Police, the Military, Education, Entertainment, and Medicine. We've destroyed families and marriages to fight against Biological norms. We've been pushing women to act like men, and men to act like women for decades. THis is no different. We will be shamed into accepting this as the new reality. -

-
I expect him to be gone in the 3rd round. I wouldn't be surprised if a team takes him in the 2nd. Some might be stupid enough to take him in the 1st. Objectively speaking, he would have a 1st round grade. Only his position would stop teams from picking him high, but some teams still draft safeties, guards, centers, and Runningbacks high despite the warnings every year.
