Nice to know there will be other Bills fans there. I do periodic on-site consulting in Indy and was able to purposely organize my next visit for next week & will arrive early Sunday.

All trades completed - highest trade was a 3rd round pick
Mr Info replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
I picked this shirt up at the 716Store the last time I was in Buffalo. Cowboys trademarked that in the early 2000s. Expect the 716Store to receive a cease and desist order. Will hold onto this and wear it proudly especially when I know Cowboys fans will be around. -
I am loyal to Hendricks, Fever Tree tonic, with slices of cucumber. Dried juniper berries on top finishes it off well but sometimes tough to find a bar that finishes it that way.

Thanks for the feedback on the Gilmour shows you were able to see. Will see him next Wed @MSG and appreciate the adrenalin boost your review provided.

RIP Phil Lesh, founding member and bassist of the Grateful Dead
Mr Info replied to Logic's topic in Off the Wall
I had the opportunity to meet Lesh before a Dead show at Philly about 15-20 years ago. He had an organ donation event in the afternoon prior to the show where he signed paraphernalia in return for a donation to an organ donation group that I do not recall and/or signing up for organ donation. I will never forget how humble and mild mannered he was. We only spoke for 1-2 minutes and no inkling of him being a famous musician and nice to see him continuing to support other organ recipients after his liver transplant. -
Tua’s Broken Dome (now being placed on IR-out at least 4 games)
Mr Info replied to RunTheBall's topic in The Stadium Wall
“Tua was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. To play Sunday, he will need to be a full participant either Thursday or Friday. Once he practices in full, he can meet with an independent neurological consultant assigned to the team and receive final clearance to play.” https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/41968071/tua-tagovailoa-practice-return-welcome-sight-dolphins -

I recall my PSL rep stating that 16% of season tickets were from Canada. -
Week 8 - Bills at Seahawks Game Week Thread

I am old, but not yet that old, and nothing else is like the excitement, enjoyment and adrenaline of being there for anything (football game, concert, etc.). -

The OP makes good points and so do others. However, the NFL ratings this year are at a nine year high. https://ministryofsport.com/nfl-tv-ratings-surge-to-nine-year-high/#:~:text=The NFL has recorded its, weeks of the 2024 season. Interesting point about MLB made above. This postseason I have watched more baseball than in recent years. I was a baseball fanatic when young but they lost me when teams can spend whatever they want on salaries. Ruins competitiveness. 3 of the 4 teams currently in the MLB playoffs are the top three in salary expense. I will dump the NFL if salary cap parity is also removed. I may be incorrect but I believe there are several players on the current teams still in the playoffs that make more $ than the combined salary of some MLB teams.

Do or did you ever own Tommy Hilfiger clothes?
Mr Info replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
Very rarely do I purchase or wear any regular clothes with a logo on it. Bills sports gear is special case. When someone pays me to wear their logo then I might consider it. I can usually find other non designer apparel that is better quality than most logo apparel (Hilfiger, Lauren, etc.). -

Week 5 - Bills at Texans Game Week Thread
Mr Info replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Pats, and now the Chiefs, have had long stretches being at the top without needing a crummy season to restock the roster. This should not be a necessity for the Bills. -
Did you purposefully turn this into a GILF?

Bills rank 9th in poll of top front offices in the NFL (article)
Mr Info replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
This was published yesterday and placing it here. Admins can move it or perhaps a separate topic. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5797292/2024/09/26/bills-front-office-moves-orchard-park/ Some excerpts if unable to view: With a new stadium being built across Abbott Road and owner Terry Pegula moving closer to selling a portion of the team, the Bills needed to add to their executive leadership team after years of upheaval and front-office chaos. The Bills hired Milwaukee Brewers executive Jason Hartlund as chief commercial officer and Major League Baseball executive Kate Hussmann as chief strategy officer. As senior vice presidents, they will join chief administrative officer Josh Dziurlikowski and chief legal officer Terry Gilbride and report to executive vice president and chief operating officer Pete Guelli. The Bills have grand plans for their Orchard Park campus once the stadium is complete. They want to host the 2028 NHL Winter Classic to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the event’s launch in what was then known as Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Bills have submitted a request to host the NFL Draft in 2028 or 2029. Just four and a half years ago, the Bills had eight executive vice presidents and one senior VP. The Bills now have five senior VPs and one executive VP (Guelli). He said there won’t be any more additions to the Bills’ leadership group. -

Yes, that’s a bit expensive. Though sometimes I do things for fun & entertainment and ROI never enters into the equation.
